How's everything back in Saskatchewan?

It seems like only yesterday I was standing in line in the snow in May in Saskatoon waiting to get in to Ep I.

Now I'm in Northern California in December and my son's outside playing in the grass. So odd.

As for me, I'm fleeing canadian winters and am now in Florida, with my son playing in the sand..

That's probably a pretty good idea. It was minus 41 with the windchill today in Winnipeg. :/ I could hear the windshield of my car feeling like it wanted to crack or shatter or something.

 

I know how it feels. I live in Saskatoon and with wind chill it reached 42 today!
BRRRRRRRR!

 

Well, its nice to see the weather improving in Southern Saskatchewan... only -5 or so today. I might actually venture outside!

 

I live in Sask at the moment, and as most prairie dwellers, I plan to move as far south as possible just as soon as I can.

 

...why the exodus?
This thread just caught my eye because Sandwich Boy (from the Toronto group, as I am) used to live in Saskatoon...

Nice to see former Canadians doing good out there in the world!

I live in Calgary...but just wanted to say...that I hate the drive though Saskatchewan! The highways are horrible!

Sorry. Sask rules though!

 

umm Sask. is uhhh flat uhhh cold, its a good place to get your car stolen and theres alot of cool old people to talk to. plus theres nothing better than watching old people cry when a grain elevator gets torn down.
i know its mean but there isn't alot that keeps me amsued in Sask. but i wont move lol cuase i'm too damn lazy.
