Forum Feud Round 3​

Starting with Round Three we will have a play in game to get to the next round. The two teams that lost but had the highest scores in the previous round will play the play-in game. The winner of that game will play the top scoring team from the previous round.

Round 3 Games
The Dancing Ewoks (EUC) vs. Mystery Inc Squad (PT)
The Power Converters (New Movies) vs. Ready Player One (RPF)
V1N (Community) vs. Winner of play-in game


We have something really fun to include this round which has necessitated a decrease in the score needed to win from 300 to 250. You'll find out what it is when the first game gets to their round 2.


The new games will start tomorrow-ish.

Not necessarily. If Mace Windy Cloud City Riders wins the Play-in game and then beat V1N in their Round 3 game, Community would be out.

Hurricane Florence Rules Changes

With a Category 5 hurricane about to hit the east coast of the US we realize it may cause a few issues with the game. While this is happening, we will have a little change to the rules on responding to the game.

If you live in an area that is likely to be affected by the hurricane and you can let us know, that would be the optimal thing. But since people are already evacuating and may (shockingly!) not be thinking about a game on a Star Wars forum, the hosts are going to do their best to pay attention to where their players are. If someone doesn't answer for a while (how long that is will depend on the host and when they can get on), we'll check their IP address and if they are in the hurricane area we will skip to the next player in line. This may cause someone to get skipped even if they were available, but in order to keep the game going at a decent speed, it's something we need to do.

This only applies to people who are in those areas affected. Everyone else will still be subject to the 24 hour time limit.

 

I know none of my team should be in the US currently but sending my best wishes to those in the affected areas! Stay safe!

 

Thanks for your concern, esteemed host! I checked with team Almost Famous and we should be good as we're in safe areas that hopefully won't get hit. I hope none of the other mods/hosts are in the path of the hurricane, but if you are, please be safe as well. You've got a friend in Pennsylvania if needed!

Almost Famous plays in the Play-in game a second time. Will they end up playing V1N again to try and go to the finals?

Whoops! That's what happens when I try to do things while I'm at work and in the middle of the night. Of course, if like half the teams hadn't picked the same colors, it would have been easier!
It's fixed.

 

Either that or just wishful thinking and a desire to be rid of EHT....
