Forum Upgrade 2017

We had an issue with long posts (over 10k in length) when we converted from the old IGN software to Xenforo. The posts were just truncated. We pushed for a fix but in the end it never happened. (That's the short version). There's a thread on the topic here.

Yeah - it was mostly fanfic that was affected. If nothing else people should have learned to keep a copy of their work on a device somewhere if they post it here.

I don’t think I have written a post over 1k characters let alone 10k

 

Writing fanfiction turns one into Aunt Blabby. I speak from long experience!

 

I couldn’t write fanfiction if I my life depended on it. Might have a great imagination but it doesn’t translate to the pen so to speak
