The source in the Reddit is a blank page so, maybe it was up and now it’s not.

So, err, are there any novels besides Light of the Jedi that came out this year? Like, "adult" novels? Not like the "junior" novels for The High Republic series.

The third Alphabet Squadron book. The second HR book "rising storm". And Thrawn ascendency; greater good.

I'm now less sure if Gideon is tied to the First/Final Order stuff

BUT i do think that all that Cloning stuff is linked to Exegol in that these were Palpatine's earlier attempts to mess with this dark side cloning stuff.

I think Snoke thing is still real and needed Grogu's blood for Snoke.

Yeah, the "2021" just doesn't do it for me and it's not that orderly.

Is Del Rey the "main" company that Lucasfilm Books uses to publish material?

Depends what you consider to be main.

    DR = Adult novels
LFL Press = Junior / Middle / YA

A bit frustrating how many major publishing stories are by LFL Press, meaning the Del Rey timeline looks emptier than it should.

For the last few years they've announced books a few months ahead of time, so plenty of time for them to fill out 2022.

seems we could get more stories with characters from the mobile game star wars: Hunters, We already got a cameo from one in recent comics. So we could get them in stories around the era post ROTJ.

I'll be curious to see if any of the shows or source book eventually answer the question i have is if Palpatine and the Sith Eternal are monitoring what is going on with the In-Universe Remnants like Gideon or Thrawn.

I’m more curious if Jixtus and the Grysk Hegemony are monitoring what is going on with the Sith Eternal and Palpatine.

    Assuming their still around.

Seems to be a pattern of civilization just getting wiped out.

As wacky as Shadow of Mordor/War is, I would love a story/game like this about Exegol.

You know, I think there’s an argument to be made that the First and Final Orders weren’t doing as well as the Grysk or several other UR political superpowers. Especially since Palpatine and Pryde needed a navigational signal to be able to move through the Unknown Regions.

The Grysk, The Chiss, The Vak Combine etc all used Force Sensitives to navigate through the Chaos. That they didn’t have access to that makes me think there was chicanery being played on the Space Nazis.

Whole thing could be one big chess game (Chiss game?) where the Ascendancy was on one side, the Hegemony was on the other and both were trying to pull the Imperials in different directions against each other.

    There’s your Post-IX novel/animated/comic book series.

I headcanon that the Yuuzhan Vong in canon went into the Unknown Regions and wiped out the major powers there including the Chiss, which is why the First Order had to face minor powers. As for the Vong, they lost more in the UR then in the galaxy proper.

Considering I feel the Post 9 theme or one of them should be making the Unknown Regions a bit more known we do need some more enemies.

Everyone's focusing on the First Order in the Unknown Regions vs the weird alien groups that live there, but what mostly interests me is the idea of some sort of civil war were different factions have different ideas of how to rebuild the Empire. I'm imagining that original Battlefront II level were stormtroopers fought clone troopers, but with First Order troopers. Plus it would explain things like why Rae Sloane is no longer around and how Snoke came to power.

Still was it a full on civil war with factions fighting other factions or was it more a internal power struggle were in public everyone is all buddy buddy but their is a lot of spec operations and backstabbing and maneuvering.

I love the idea of imperial cold war.
