I get it. I just didn't agree with it.

And the only reason I brought it up recently is because of those threads that I thought were becoming the very thing that had previously been complained about. But we've addressed that now as well.

Yes, that happened

 

It was the free association, art thread and a few others that were always at the top. I think the free association thread went from like 2k pages to 7k pages in the span of two years. During that time I doubt the free association thread ever left the first page

Yep in January 1st of 2018 the free association thread went from 1461 pages. To today over 7100 pages

 

As punk said, it's the human centipede of threads.

 

Who could have guessed that when @Jedi Master Kenobiwan started that thread it would eventually become the biggest thread on the forum. By a mile. And would probably be about 50% of the reason why a new forum was made

 

trust me when I say that would have been the last thing on her mind when she created it.

 

I was mostly joking. I expected the thread to be locked every other month lol

 

every once in a while I get tagged in that thread because someone randomly thinks of a starfish

 

Was that ever debated by the mods? On weather to lock that thread

 

I mean that’s to be expected.

in case you're being serious I suspect it's to stop, yet another outcry of

all for the sake of 'keeping the conversation going' for teh drama of it.

I will look back on this thread fondly, as the moment a groundswell of average users rose up and made a cantankerous head administrator dislodge himself from his acedia and take action on behalf of the people!
