I think I'm going to swear off beta reading for a bit. This guy is killing me! After getting the psycho-analytical druid thing cleared up, we are now dealing with the Repubic's massive clone army. Can I get an "L" Vanna?

 

I knew there had to be a better use for all those clones than just using them as cannon fodder....

 

Using them as odd OCs?

It gets annoying when people can't spell the names of their favourite characters correctly (Jania, Anikan). You think they'd get that straight, at least!

And this isn't exactly a typo thing, but a friend of mine messed with the auto correct on my MS Word. Every time I typed "Obi-Wan" it would automatically change to "Obtuse One". Actually took me awhile to figure that one out...

I have a huge history of saying nush instead of mush in replys, and then everyone asks "What's nush?"




And then there are typos in fics that your beta doesn't catch until AFTER you post. *headdesk*

Not sure if this counts, but I have a habit of typing my own name wrong. Instead of Jennifer, I either type Jennider or Jenniger. Jennider is the more common one though *shakes head* That's why I like Jen *grins* Not much you can get wrong with that...

Unfortunatly 'Nush' is my better half's nickname so I may get slightly jealous.

I've seen the Cone Wars before now. Also that well-known Sith mastermind, Darth Widious. (Why do I find that so funny?)

A friend of mine also tells a story about getting an old computer off a mate of his. He starts a ficlet on it, and discovers that while such SW terms as 'Sith' aren't in the spellcheck dictionary, common swearwords are. And the autocorrect is on.
