Amph Game Of Thrones (uh i guess it's done now? Edit: No!)

Jon finally learns to lie, but at the worst possible opportunity when Dany asks him "are you a Targaryen" and she already knows the answer, convincing her that he's been scamming her from the start so she roasts him alive.

 

Jon and Dany kill each other and Cersei wins. Biggest twist would be Cersei Lannister(and the Lannister regime itself) victorious.

It seems the cast is doing "The history of blank character" videos for their characters. Pretty good promotional material I must say.

Also now that I watched the line up, was I the only one who caught a smidgeon of insincerity in Sansa's words?

 

I do wonder what the GC will look like, in terms of how the show will portray their armour and such.

She's in fact repeating the traditional formula Ned also extended to Robert back in the very first episode. And remember one of her favourite sayings is "courtesy is a lady's armour". I think she went through too much and fought too hard to regain both her sense of self and her position as Lady of Winterfell in her own right to readily relinquish her power, so she's shrewdly taking a wait-and-see attitude towards this woman who, for all her titles, is essentially a stranger to Westeros.

I'm well aware of the courtesies she is extending. I was saying her tone was insincere and apprehensive at best, hostile at worst.

In my opinion, she's just being reasonably cautious ("trust but verify" and all that), but to each their own interpretation.

I suppose we shall wait and see. It's clear to me though she isn't extending the same warmth that Ned was to Robert back in season 1.

Of course. She's repeating the same thing Ned said to Robert, which I guess is a customary greeting in the Seven Kingdoms. But Sansa and the whole North were shown in Season 7 to not be big on accepting Queen Daenerys... that's why it took the whole season for Jon to "bend the knee.")

And it's one thing for Ned to welcome his old pal Bob, and another entirely for Sansa to have this scene be her introduction to Daenerys. The tone of meeting would obviously be different.

It will be very interesting to basically have EVERYONE except Cersei, and maybe Jaime, together. And at Winterfell again. That's the first time since Episode 1. Really looking forward to Arya's reunions with Jon and Gendry.

 

Sansa's greeting to Daenerys looked more sincere than Jon's booty call.
