    Obi_Wan_01 - Ack. Rough one. But we've got 34 points at Thanksgiving, you guys have 36. I'm happy with that.

    I also hope that Price's injury doesn't keep him out. There is no joy to be had in beating a team with a handicap.

    The rest of the pack has definitely caught up to them now. The Atlantic and the incredibly weak Pacific are both so wide-open, it's crazy.

    You'd think Ottawa would've been a no-brainer to play in that one, so they could showcase the Battle of Ontario. So tired of seeing the same teams being in the Winter Classic and Stadium Series over and over.

    The Redwings are my favorite team followed by the Maple Leafs. So I would love to see a Winter Classic game held at the Big House.

    Really wish Dallas would get a nod with an outdoor game. I kind of doubt it will happen though. Although they could have had one already had Minnesota not demanded to play the Hawks instead of the Stars as was the original plan. Not sure why the league caved. It just seems like you'd want to showcase exciting, offensive teams to grow the sport.

    I think some Bruins fans would disagree with you ;)

    They go with what will make the most $$$. Toronto-Ottawa just doesn't have the draw the other, stronger rivalries have. The original six all have much larger fan bases.

    It could be argued though that the original six are so much more marketable precisely because of the groundwork the league has been laying for several decades to make them so. The revisionism in terms of the original six era being a high point for the league's talent and competitive integrity is a big part of it - in truth the league was rife with corrupt practices and policies that gave the Leafs, Habs, and Red Wings a significant advantage. It was a terrible time for hockey and for hockey players especially.
