This isn't that important and probably not an error but I'd still like to know why this keeps happening. It gets a little annoying sometimes. The names in my watched user list move. I probably wouldn't notice so much but one of the names is a VIP, therefore red. Sometimes this persons name is split in half with the given name being on one line and the surname being on the next line. Sometimes it is together on the original line and just now the whole name moved down to the lower line. Anytime I go into my profile I can't help but notice that it's moved again. ?[face_plain]

I still occasionally get the old Cannot find Server errors, all over the JC. Usually for a minute or so, then it works fine. So it's nothing major, just iritating.

EDIT: Bah...stupid thing...don't mind the double posts...they are due to the errors I am repeatedly getting.

I don't know if this is something important, or if it's just my browser, but I couldn't get onto the JC main page. I repeatedly got "Website Not Responding" messages (about 12 of them, and yes, I did count) before it finally loaded. Then, I got about 15 more before I could log in, then once logged in, I kept getting timed out errors. It took me about 45 min. just to log on and post in this one thread.

EDIT: I just got a few more while clicking the "post" button.

This thing is impossible. [face_plain] I've been getting these dang errors over and over and over and over and over in EVERY single forum. I can't get to a page unless I click on a link, at the very least, 20 times.

   .... [face_plain].... :(

I couldn't even get to the boards for a few hours today. It's actually the first time I've had any major errors in a while. Very frustrating, though.

It's not just here. Though this was the first place I got it, I'm getting errors ALL across the net. The only thing not affected by it so far are instant message systems (such as AIM and YIM) once you manage to get onto them.

I checked the IGN boards, and they seem to be having similar errors on their side of things too. Aside from that, the rest of the internet works fine for me.

    Edit:
Okay, things seem to be flying now. Hopefully it's done being a pain for a while.

was there something glitchy with the boards a few minutes ago? I couldn't get in at all "cannot locate this page" or something to that effect. wasn't sure if it's my cable system or the board here burping or farting, or all of the above. :D

Hmm here is an unusual one I discoverd just moments ago...

I was checking the users online list and got this message on page 2 of names starting with D:-

    43 users out of
    Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a000d'

    Type mismatch: 'FormatNumber'

    /users_online.asp, line 62

Hmm, well I thought I'd mention it in case anyone else had a similar problem.

try again; it's been burping and farting again, I guess. but before you try again, open another window and make sure it didn't already post. The system's been doing that to me alot on Sunday; gives me an error message, but has already made it through and posted.

I've been getting that 0 forums, 0 boards, 0 posts thing for a couple of days now. I thought it was just the usual glitch, you know the one you get during peak time sometimes, but it's not going away. Or rather, the numbers aren't coming back. :p

The Millenium Bug! It was just really late in striking. :p

I just hope we don't loose the total number of posts. We were approaching 12 million.

    Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a000d'

Sounds like IGN is doing server work on all the boards. No need to worry. :)
