Please avoid top 40 Country radio for your own, and the world's, good.

I'm no expert but try Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, of course Hank Williams.

I'll echo what Kiki said, but don't be afraid to sample a bit of Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, and Doug Stone.

Eh, I'm a big Swans fan, so I've dabbled a bit in several of Michael Gira's other projects.

Sadly, no, they haven't had any stops near me, but I can't say I blame them for avoiding my state.

    Great titles for Country songs:

I'd Divorce My Wife, But She's The Only Sister I Got

I Love My Dog More Than I Hate Books

I Lost My Virginity in The Truck I Was Conceived In

Remember The Good Old Days (Before Emancipation)

Bob Dylan can't bloody sing. It sounds more like he's waking up moaning and groaning to get out of bed with a nasty bout of rheumatism. You're better off sticking with performers who actually make Dylan songs worth listening to.

Charlie Daniels has only one song as far as I know. And it gets played over and over and f'n over.

EDIT - I do have to give a brief nod to Eddie Rabbitt though.
