Would you ride a dragon?

 

Sure, why not? I've always been fascinated by dragons as I've been with their real life counterparts, dinosaurs. Ever see the 1982 movie, The Flight of Dragons? It was a beautiful animated movie definitely ahead of its time.

How eager would you be if private missions to other planets was a reality soon?

 

Pretty eager, depending on how quickly I could get into shape for space travel.

What is your favorite cinematic dragon?

 

Vermithrax Pejorative from Dragonslayer was the best for a long time, fantastic "go-motion" model animation, much more believable than the now-dated CGI in Dragonheart. Peter Jackson did it right with Smaug, photo-real CGI based on Cumberbatch's amazing physical and vocal performance. But favorite, I have to go with Toothless from How to Train Your Dragon and the sequels, all good.

How would you slay a dragon?

Would you ever want to see a Kimodo Dragon?

 

There's a zoo here like that, possibly more than one. Called Lion Country Safari. Awesome!

Have you ever been on an actual safari?

 

Yes, humpback whales off the coast of Newfoundland. We were returning from 4 months in the desert and stopped in St Johns for a long overnight and a bunch of us went out on a whale-watch boat. There were some local teens on the boat too, half of them got seasick, but after 4 months of flying combat missions the motion wasn't bothering us a bit. Being out on the ocean after so long in the desert was glorious. And then the humpbacks started coming up, some of them right next to the boat. They were obviously looking at us, waving their fins and tails, splashing, and just looking like they were having the best time saying hello to us, their newest friends. It was amazing.

What's the biggest animal you've ever seen, in person?

 

Probably a horse - place near me has some in a pasture.

Have you had your first or second Covid vaccination yet? (My second one is Thursday).

 

I've had both, the first in March and the second in April.

Where do you want to travel?

 

Video games, but I don't really play either type anymore.

What was your favorite video game console?

 

Multiple iterations of it, and with actual cards, too!

What do you do when you're bored and don't have your cell phone?

 

I read my Dungeons and Dragons guidebooks (I.e. Xanathar’s Guide to Everything) like a novel.
