O.C, CA Giant LEGO R2-D2 being erected

    Starting today (Friday the 27th of May), at they've begun construction on an 8 foot tall R2-D2 model. You can go down and watch from 8am to 6pm, and even help out by building the bricks themselves, this earns you a certificate with an image of the miniature version of the LEGO R2-D2, and stating that you participated in an official LEGO event, and recognizes your enthusiasm and creativity displayed in building with LEGO bricks. They plan to have it finished on Sunday at around 6pm, if you want to go down and see the finished project.

    Oops, forgot to say that it's at the LEGO store at Downtown Disney.
