[GIFs] Mark Hamill's great acting mired by shoddy stunts, and other goofs

Point taken. I was reaching for something suitably on-topic after I off-topically complimented Twilek. What I meant was that the bad saber FX in that scene are distracting from Hamill's spot-on rendition of an eager young apprentice in training.

But then, this thread isn't about bad FX but rather, bad stunts. It occurs to me that some of the Ewoks' action poses in ROTJ are less than convincing, but I'd have to watch the movie for specific shots that have always bothered me, so I'll get back to this later.

I'm willing to give Han the benefit of the doubt and say maybe he could see Luke's silhouette or something to give him an idea where his face was. Yes, I know, that's stretching it.

Forget the pro wrestling kick by Hamill, what's with that dude flying in the background? It looks like he's swimming in Super Mario Brothers...

 

KOTOR Mandos are awesome. Traviss Mandos are lame. Get it right.

 

I have looked for this stunt failure a couple of times in the film, I have never been able to spot it even when I have purposely looked for it.
