Welshguy says, Edit: As an example of how bad it is, I was talking to a woman recently that i'm trying to get to go out with me and we got onto the subject of movies. I started talking about Star Wars etc and we came to the character of Yoda. Or Yogi as she called him....

This relationship is over even before it starts.

    Youre hilarious man.

I am a girl, well a woman now, and was 7 years old when I first saw "A New Hope", then began a love story for anything Star Wars. I have resolved not to date a guy who doesnt dig Star Wars, what a LOSER.

Well, my last two girlfriends seemed ok with my love for Star Wars, one of them found my framed picture of Darth Vader in the corner of my lounge a bit weird, but I explained to her that it simply had to be that way. Any lady that would poke fun at me for being a Star Wars dude would simply not be right.

As a starwars Femfan in the North I've never had the opportunity to meet other fans so its a shock to find Male or female fans at ALL!

but hmm, I dont know really all my friends are quite aware that I 'like' starwars its never really effected my love life ...I suppose I never get to talk about it with passion and energy as I'd be given a glare... It would be nice to be in a relationship when atleast some of our passions were similiar.

    I'm not going
    And if I were, I wouldn't attend a single's night either :p

Being single is good, I don't have to waste money on someone else and I'm not expected to waste my time taking them places i don't want to go :D

My life, no-one else controls it [face_devil]

Well I am a girl and I love SW. Have been a fan always but seriously got into collecting in 1991 when the Zahn trilogy of books was released. Seem to be cursed with boyfriends who were SW fans also. But that was back in OZ. I have been living in the UK for almost 3 years and am now married to an English SW fan!

Nice to be back in the loop!

    Hello !

My funniest experience of star wars and women was taking my ex years ago to see the special editions. Was holding her hand until the star destroyer started going across the screen and she complained about me holding her hand too tight. Dough !
