I'll take from that, then, that the notation that women are more likely than men to believe in climate change has no significance attached to it whatsoever?

I recommend taking a class on reading comprehension. I think you would benefit a great deal from it.

Why does everything "unstoppable" have to be bad? Can't we have an unstoppable pizza party?

I guess the news falls somewhere between Waterworld and a pizza party. On the one hand. Manhattan won't be entirely underwater, but on the other hand, they'll likely have to abandon tens of billions of dollars worth of real estate, worldwide, trillions of dollars. Entire island nations will be wiped off the map.

The Tea Party is probably one of the side effects of not having a ****-off large world war. Idiocy resides among the least useful members of society, who make excellent cannon fodder. Kill off the idiots, their Party dies with them!

Yeah you would think Republicans would not trust scientists more than independents don't.

    Wow.
What a sentence. Even I don't understand it!

well, they've split republicans overall into the soulless rich types and the tea party white trash/nouveau riche cretin types. meanwhile the "independents" are still stuck with their tea party/conspiracy nutjob types dragging their total down

Ah, so is that the moderate Republicans I've been wanting to meet for what seems like eternity?

No, there aren't really any "moderate Republicans" as a significant political faction.

However, before the Tea Party, the last conservative fad came from Lou Dobbs and other racists who convinced them that the "authentic" thing to do was to call themselves independent rather than Republican. Because Freedom. As a result, those two groups largely mirror one another.

There's continued evidence coming to light about the real agenda behind climate change advocates. Not surprisingly, it's political in nature.

"Critics of Coleman’s have questioned his lack of academic credentials, journalism degree, and charge that he has not conducted actual research in the area of climate change.[10][11] In 2008, Coleman gave a speech to the San DiegoChamber of Commerce blaming the "global warming scam" and environmentalist lobby, for rising gas and food prices. He also declared the scam "a threat to our economy and our civilization."[12]"
