2022 eh? Maybe I'll finally be able to purchase a PS5 by then.

 

Not a bad trailer, a bit concerning that this still doesn’t seem to have a sold release date.



also could a mod change the year in the title to 2022 please.

 

All release dates for games are lies anyway. I’d rather they wait until they know when it’ll be ready to ship than put out dates that they’ll either have to change or rush the game to meet.

 

It’s a solid trailer and this is one upcoming game that I’m genuinely looking forward to. I suspect that publishers may be reluctant to release triple-A titles until the new generation of consoles are more widely available.

It's unclear if this one is next gen only. The Suicide Squad one is. Which is good, it means more impressive games.

 

Was it me or was there a notable drop in quality for this trailer compared to Suicide Squad? The cut scenes in SS were more detailed and fluid. This one had models with noticeable issues and looked more stiff in some shots.

 

Looking at the official website, PS4 and Xbox One are listed as platforms. Looks like it’s being released on both generations. I don’t own a next gen system yet, but I would rather have these games as next gen only titles. Building games for the new hardware will result in better games. The games will still be available to play when I get around to upgrading.

 

Don't be too quick to assume a game being released for both PS4 and PS5 means the game will run identically on the later system. In a good many cases it hasn't been so.

 

Gotham Knights Hints at Four Player Co-Op in PS Store Listing

I had thought this was already a forgone conclusion; but even so if it's confirmed that alone could sell the game outright. I'd imagine the Suicide Squad: Death to the Justice League game will be the same thing. I already know which characters I'd play in both games.

 

Yeah I figured this was guaranteed. I don't have three friends but I'll enjoy playing with my brother probably

 

I assume you don't need to know people to play co-op games. It shouldn't be too difficult to feature a "search" mode where you'd be linked up with others to play together; kind of like how Overwatch hooks up players on the same team.

 

Past gen versions have been cancelled. This game requires current gen (PS5, Series) to run.

I assume that's the same for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.

 

I feel like this is going to be on gamepass/ps+ somewhat rapidly…..but i really want those BB skins.

 

It is but that one was known to be PS5-XBX only from the start.

 

I found the demo quite funny.

It's non-lethal - Nightwing kicks a goon off a building - no one dies - Red Hood shoots a few people before attaching a bomb to one and shooting - don't worry, he'll live.

More seriously, looks a mostly standard open world game. The boarding the truck from the bike bit stood out.

 

Good to know it could be 4 player, originally it was only going to be 2 player

This was supposedly quashed today- 2 player coop only.

 

Oh yeah! It's why I found it funny.

Arkham Knight was hilarious. You shoot a guy with a tank cannon, but don't worry, it's non-lethal.

Sadly the batmobile killed Knight for me, found Asylum and City to be better.

 

My favorite was in "Origins" when I dive bomb Bane's henchman and as I'm about to knock him out, he yells, "I have you now!"

 

I've just added the game to my PS5 "wishlist". I assume it'll notify me once it's released; but I'm really interested in when the price drastically goes down after awhile.
