    First!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!![face_dancing]

    8/10

    -Beginning was inconsistent with "Cargo"
-Rushed episode, the pacing was really off in places

    Other than that, good episode.

    That was quick...

    This ones a 5, I don't hate but I certainly don't love it.

First off, I'm sure by now its no secret I am a Rex fangirl, I incorporate the mistakes in the last episode into his character. But the beginning of this is his worse moment ever, he was WTF retarded. Green blood isn't from your men, really? Why does Anakin have to come see it? Just tell him. I find the characterization of alot of the character in this episode to be off and inconsistent. I can look past that the beginning overwriting end of the last episode but there is to much else wrong. Its a bummer after the 10 episode that is 'Cargo of Doom'. This episode is boring, its to fast paced, and its hard to follow. All those thing contribute to this being one of the few episoded I've only just now watched for the 2nd time and disliked more this time around.

    4. I want to get out of my 'generous marking' mindset and approach this from a critical perspective.

    Stuff I liked:
    -Cad Bane's escape attempts.
-The "Boyband Moment" (Interrogation scene for those that don't have the DVD or don't watch the featurettes :p)
-The Xanadu Blood in action, always loved the design.
-All the scenes on Black Stall Station, including the "So long, Jedi!" at the end and when he's at his computer in the beginning. "Sure, sure. As long as I get paid, it makes no difference to me *cheeky grin*"

Stuff I didn't like or care about:
    -Everything else.

Bane made this episode worthwhile. But the plot was way too rushed. And I didn't even bother watching after Bane jumped in the escape pod. I can honestly say I don't care about the children at all. All I wanted was to see Cad Bane shooting **** up. Having said that, didn't appreciate the Indy whip, that was a bit much.

    This isn't YouTube

6- great idea:cool: but pretty much totally ****ed up:oops:

Bane is escaping- quickly i sense a house- there is kid in the house- Bane is escaping again- kid in danger again.... Bane escapes!

This is insanely fastpaced episode- and it's not good because there is just poorly patched plotholes keeping story together- "old trick to track down smugglers" I mean really really:oops: ...... "I sense a house on Rodia"- suddenly 'jedi sense' is on/off skill that gives extremely clear information- sounds like they just couldn't invent anything else so let's mystical sense now patch up the plothole......

How many times Bane escapes in this episode? That's too much for one episode really......

I don't give a damn of continuity issues with COD- it works well enough- but it's crazy way to start episode anyway....

If only episode would have then settled and continued with normal pace but no way they're running around across the galaxy- in vain..... why Bane had to choose those kids from so many different worlds etc. so many things just are left unexplained-

if fueling info cannot be deleted how rebels can have secret base in ANH:confused: etc. so criminal genius Bane was just stupid not to delete it or what?....that was really poor way to explain how they will find Bane.... they fly to Mustafar- (right facility there) get the kids and escape.... really was it worth of animating Mustafar for 10 second visit? same with Gungan village- hopefully we see more of that model during season4....

    And Bane with a whip:oops: lame Indy-reference

Well not so bad that there wouldn't be something good-

+I love the general idea- Emperor's hands really pretty much T-canonised here
+Wee Dunn is soooo cute:p i love the way he plays with a ball.... and he is sooo certainly son of Bolla Ropal also[face_laugh]
+"You are not the child I was hoping to find" or whatever- was funny line....
+Multiple jedi doing a mind trick to Bane "Force can do terrible things to a mind" LOL it reminded me so much of Kotor[face_laugh] - i also liked the way Ahsoka invented it, but was first to look worried about Bane while Anakin was not showing any mercy- that is vaderism i like-subtle and understandable but cruel
+Palpatine's reaction to Ahsoka- he ignores her really

this is not so bad episode if watched in sections- but way they race across the universe really needs a respite this should've been split up to two episodes there is too much stuff for one it became too fast and confusing filled with convenient patches for huge plotholes....

Nothing much to say about this episode other than it was just a waste of time. Too many places to be in 22 minutes, the opening scenes were a mess, the Force is weak with the Jedi, the three-way mind trick with Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Mace against a bounty hunter was just [face_plain], Ahsoka was her typical self, Mustafar wasn't needed. So yeah, I still feel the same with this episode. 5/10

^Pretty much agreed, but i liked the mind trick.... and it was nice to see new model of nannydroid and little nautolan and gungan- mobile with sando-monster and all was also great- there was many good details there but as said far too fast-so fast it really ruined this episode- fortunately only episode that is this fast-

Hunt for Ziro also suffered same issues but in smaller scale- why Bane brings these intergalactic races with him?-

More than 3 worlds in same episode is insane this had 4 plus random space where Venator was and asteroidfield with Black Stall -station.... far too much locations in same episode- 22 minutes is hardly enough for plotline like this...

I like the Boyband Moment because of its execution over the concept. I'd agree that it's a bit [face_plain] or  as an idea, but it played out very well.

A rushed episode with some good scenes and locations. And I loved the Indiana Jones nod with Mace's lightsaber.

@GG and Notafanboy- You guys just cannot frankly disagree without any mitigations:p

It was Ahsoka's idea IU so from that point of view totally justified that it was over the top..... i was more bothered by their group-meditation that gave so much info.... still Palpatine remained safe..... they should groupmeditate more often if it's so damn enlightening:p

It would've been more fun if there wouldn't be so many Indy-nods...... now Indy-nods are kinda lame because Dave is Indy-freak it just feels he is once again shoehorning bit Indy there... well at least there was not Plo there:p .....

lightsaberjoke was better than that Bane's whip:oops: like hat, jacket and gun wouldn't be classic western-hero enough he has to have Indy's trademarkwhip too.....

Man, so many harsh reviews! And to think this is one of my favorites of the series...

While I'll admit that Cargo of Doom has this episode pretty much beaten, CoTF is pretty amazing in its own right IMO. For one, Sidious gets the spotlight for the first (and only) time, in a plot that sets up the "Emperor's Hands" no less. I loves the Revenge of the Sith feel, with subtle similarities like Anakin's talk with Palpatine and more obvious ones like Mustafar. And as far as pacing goes, I saw nothing wrong with it. Some episodes, like this one, lend themselves well to fast pacing. Others, like Assassin and Monster, do not. :p

Anyway, that's just my two cents. The episode had ROTS-style darkness with plenty of Jedi screen time and was a great ending to the trilogy. 10/10 for me.

^Hey good that someone likes this cr.... i mean episode:D it's shame this good episode-idea is made so badly- pacing is horrible but well apparently it doesn't irritate everyone- but i'm also glad to see i was not only one who thought pacing sucks in this, since i thought so before i heard any other reviews....

and I still like Nuvo Vindi while he was criticised so harshly here:p opinions, opinions- some opinion being more common doesn't make it any more "right".....

I never saw Bane's whip as an Indiana reference.

    + Awesome Cad Bane scenes.
    + Settings were amazing
    + Interrogation scene
    + Mustafar action

In my opinion, it is the first perfect episode of S2.

It really is a shame what happened to this episode, it was extremely dark and could have been awesome. Infact my little brother loves this one so I guess its not a total loss. Like I said I don't flat out hate it. I think the problem is 'Children of the Force' was just to many ideas that sounded good on paper but to little time. The whole thing just feels so contrived in order to make the parts fit together and it also felt like characters were bent to fit this episode and not the other way around. Maybe they should have dropped 'Bounty Hunters' in favor of a forth part of this arc. I still can't believe the same guy who wrote 'The Deserter' wrote that peice of crap. That is going to be a bloody review when we get there.

in this series so far we have seen Ark of the Covenant, Staff of Ra, Crystal Skull and these and Cad Bane also reminds me too much of Indy since both are based on classic westernhero or villain in this case-

I did- because it was too Indy not to be Indy-reference

And I like Bounty Hunters really.... it is homage but i like it still...

    I beg your pardon?

    ...

Most of what I think about this episode has been said already. It was rushed, a lot of the characterization was off, and the shoe-horning of Mustafar was a major  moment for me.

Still, we got to see Sidious in the spotlight for once, and MOAR BANE is always good in my book.

    6/10.

Don't start this again man, the conspirators will be on your tail for weeks.

My doctor says I should avoid arguing with you but in all seriousness dude, can you not see that it's a blatant homage/ripoff/whatever to Indiana Jones? For crying out loud man.
