We are only one week away from parade day! (Hopefully this week goes by fast)

We could still use a few items for the potluck. Here's what we have so far:

    Andrew - cake
    TJ - Sandwiches
    Steph C.- chips
    Bayley - garden salad
    Chris L. - Beef on a bun
    Matt - case of water/pop
    Jonathan - case of water/pop
    Justin- Anakin - cookies
Stephanie- Imperial Officer/Jedi - sweet and sour meatballs
    Doug - pasta salad
    Eryn - vegetable tray
    Nelson - pop
    Dan - cutlery
    Graeme - Mexican layered salad
    Ken - fruit tray

    What else do we need?

    Plates, cups
    more beverages

Remember, we are going to have around 50 hungry people, so we will need plenty of food. Any leftovers will be donated to the shelter, so too much is far better than not enough.

Also, if your name is not on the list in my previous post, make sure it gets there. I will be giving our numbers to Debby very soon so she can get the beef on a bun.

On parade day, try to be at the school by 9:30 to avoid road closures. Be prepared to be in costume by 10:00 for pictures, line-up by 10:30. Also, don't forget to bring $10 to help cover the school rental, beef on a bun, and a donation to the shelter.

    See everyone next weekend!

    2) bring $10 to cover the cost of the school/food and a donation to the shelter.

    See everyone tomorrow morning!

We had such an amazing turn out today! This is the largest group we have ever had in the parade, and we looked amazing! As always, the crowd loved us. I can't wait to see all the pictures.

We ended up donating 2 boxes of food, 2 cases of water, a case of pop and $255 to Gillian's Place. Their shelter is completely full right now, so they were very thankful for all of our support.

A big thanks to all those who came out from the 501st, Rebel Legion, and London Rogues, as well as all the past, present and brand new Niagara members.

A special thanks to everyone who brought food for lunch, David, Tracy, Devon and Melissa for being our handlers and "waterboys" for the parade, Heather for making us a beautiful new banner, and TJ for getting us the school.

Next year will be our 10th Grape and Wine parade. I hope to see you all come out again, plus many more. Thank you all again for making this day a success!

Sorry I couldn't stay and help out - and that I wasn't a great social bunny... I was there with a 101 fever :( and was just happy to get through the parade... and it was a bit tougher with 5 kids booting around! lol
