Niagara, ON Grape and Wine Parade- Saturday, 24 September, 2005

Justin and I have just returned from the Grape and Wine Festival office where we enrolled YJN to be in the annual Pen Centre Grande Parade.

The Parade date is set for Saturday, 24 September.
We have also put the invite out to other chapters (Rochester, Syracuse, Buffalo, Toronto and London).
If there is anyone we have missed please let us know. We want to make sure that everyone is included.

We will post with more information as we get it planned.

Change of location: This year we have been given the opportunity to use the Masonic Lodge in St. Catharines for before and after the parade. The terms of use for the hall include the need of at least 5 YJN members to help clean up after the festivities.
(Directions will follow)
Also, the event is a potluck, so please post (or PM Primrodo or myself) to tell us what you are bringing.

I suppose I will attend if I'm in the area. And I'll talk to pops about use of the school again, I can't see it being a problem.

 

I have to work that night, so I can't attend.

For Volunteers Stephanie and I are quite willing to help out, so we need 3 more helpers

 

Just so there is no confusion...

I'll be there to help at the parade. Deb and Kaitlyn will be going to her cousins wedding.

With the club using the mason lodge Deb and I thought it best that I be there to help make sure everything is taken care of regarding the hall.
Also...
My truck will again be used in the parade (once we double check the paperwork) for those who would rather ride.

 

I'm coming, and may be bringing Peter, that's an unknown at this time. I'll bring a bean salad for the potluck.

as for costume, I'll be Jocasta Nu, and I'll bring some other odd costume pieces (Like Jar Jar and Darth Maul masks, and various lightsabers.)

 

I hope there will be more YJN members than outsiders! Where is everyone?

 

So far from the 501st we have myself and Nick, and three others (Roy, Colin, and Kyp). Still waiting to hear back from a few others, but count on another Imperial invasion

If nothing crazy comes up I'll likely come to St. Catharines for the day, but I don't have a costume so I won't actually be in the parade.

 

Won't know till later, but we are hoping to make it for this one. Will double check with kids on who is comeing as what, but I doubt we will get hubby into his outfit. lol

it wasn't that we had bad directions.. but they closed off the road early last year.. so we couldn't get through to get to where you guys were getting ready. LOL

Hey all. So far it looks like I will be making it up with some of my fellow Rochester Rebels, maybe. Its alwasy been a blast in the past, I am sure it will be again. I will try and bring something, not sure what yet though. I may have a slightly different costume this year. I am am ussually Han last year was Han with Stormtrooper Belt. It will be han but different Hopefully.
