Doppelganger exercise

IC: Tython
Location: Jedi Temple, Meditation Room with sounds of flowing water

*Tython sat down on a mat, legs folded, palms pointed upwards, eyes closed. Being a padawan, he only planned a junior version of doppelganger. He placed strict limits on what he would visualize, not knowing what to expect in terms physical exhaustion.

Earlier that day
*He remained quite impressed, even stunned and shivering, at the mere thought of master @vncredleader 's doppelganger excercise. Taking heed from @Ananta Chetan , Tython planned only visualization, concentration, body mechanics, and stamina required to sit in a meditative position for a long period.

Tython's goal was to visualize a projection of himself walking silently past other padawans in the courtyard.

As he sat there in meditative posture, he imagined the other padawans outside. He attempted to clear his mind of all concerns. Only the image of himself passing by the other padawans was allowed to enter. He sat for three hours, the rushing water filling his ears and inoculating his senses.

Done and refreshed, he had no conscious awareness of whether his projection goal was accomplished. However, he could not shake the nagging sensation that he had gone somewhere. That is, he felt, he had left his physical body sitting right there on the mat and traveled to some place distant. He would need to return and methodically examine if the sensations he felt were indeed part of creating a projection of himself. Without slow and methodical practice, he was sure to lose control of his force abilities. This force ability of projecting one's self seemed to require extra practice to develop the right mental discipline.

Already, he sensed several risks. Physical exhaustion foremost. However, there seemed to be a greater risk of performing this task with anger clouding one's focus...a risk of exposure to darkside energy.

With a sigh, he told himself, "Good enough for now." He planned to tell @Adalia-Durron of what he experienced.

 

Hey folks, was going to finish up my update for us and get us moving today but sadly real life has intervened in the form of a nasty virus my son brought home from school and is now working it's way though my family one by one. I'm lucky number three and I spent most of last night parked in front of the porcelain goddess. As such I am rather wiped out now and in need of rest.

So what's that mean for all of you? It means I won't be posting until next week sometime (hoping by Wednesday but can make no promises) so those of you who haven't posted yet (you know who you are ) still have a chance to get something in.
