There is no emotion, there is peace.

A Jedi cannot be controlled by their emotions, since thinking irrationally can lead to irrational behavior, which may result in them being seduced by the Dark Side, so it's better to be at peace with oneself.

There is no ignorance, there is knowledge.

How can you respond to a specific situation if you don't know all of the facts? It's best to get all the facts first before you jump to conclusions and end up assuming the wrong thing about a situation (or person, if the case may be) and end up having it coming back to haunt you when you least expect it to?

There is no passion, there is serenity.

There's nothing wrong with being passionate about something, but sometimes it can get in the way, or worse, somebody could use that passion and turn it against you, which is not good for a Jedi, or anybody, really. It's best to go into a difficult situation with a clear head, so to speak.

There is no chaos, there is harmony.

Chaos only leads to more trouble, so if one has inner peace, they may be able to come up with a better solution than letting their emotions make up their minds for them, which can lead to more than they can handle, and not be able to so easily get themselves out of a sticky situation.

There is no death, there is the Force.

When someone dies, they don't actually die, they just enter a new state of consciousness. One's belief in the Force may help one achieve this goal, other than continuing to worry if their life really had any meaning. If you continue to worry what's out to get you next, what is the point of living in the first place?

2. Force- the energy that a Jedi uses to train, study, and defend with. The Jedi use the light side which focuses on harmony and balance.

Knowledge- The Jedi continue to pursue knowledge to use for the betterment of the galaxy, never for selfish gains.

Self Discipline- Being a Jedi is a hard commitment and training requires great attention and effort. A Jedi must remain in the moment and free their mind of distractions

Always remember the force is an energy field produced by all living beings. Even droids are built to recognize such energy fields.

My task for you is to research the different classes of Jedi and choose which one feels right for you and tell me why you have made that choice. And you can complete this task whenever you have time to spare - I do not wish to draw my padawan away from her schooling.
