I also love making pancakes!! Even gluten free ones... yummy...
@Sadie Erso are you currently working on a task?
Yes, I am , @BookExogorth
If you insist, i'll offer @Anedon 1 bonus point.
@ConservativeJedi321 ? Did you give @Sadie Erso her points for her task? Just keeping track of things here.
With that in mind, can you all check Page ONE here and check if your points are correct as per your signatures. If there is a discrepancy, please let either @Bardan_Jusik or myself know to fix it.
We are currently in discussion on how to continue the task, there was a slight miscommunication concerning its nature, and she is now working on the next part of the task.(Since the threat hasn't been dealt with yet it would be premature to award points).
I thought that as well. Nice job guys! Keep it up.
This morning I went to a local bakery to grab some breakfast...social distancing, waiting in line, and queued-up outside the door.
I looked over at the guy in front of me and he was wearing a face mask that read: "This is the Way."
I said: Nice Mandalorian face mask. He replied: Thanks, and then said: Either folks get it, or they don't. And we shared an affirmative chuckle.
*looks at the above post, nods quietly*
This is the Way.
I would award you points for this, but as that is beyond my purview and you don't need them anyway, I'll just say...
He only gets Honorary points anyway.
Honorary Madalorian points received.
Honorary Honor Points! Oh wait, that's another club.
Head in the game @Bardan_Jusik - Head in the GAME!!!
*Helmet in the game.
Uh oh.... I’d watch your step near temple security
To actually answer your question, a very neat people group, often from the planet Mandalore. They have gone through many iterations, but are almost always a very militaristic culture. They wear armor that is impervious to lightsaber wounds called beskar’gam. Boba and Jango Fett were Mandalorians (... depending on who you ask.)
.... but like haven’t you heard about the show The Mandalorian?
I've heard about it... and the name mostly.
How well versed are you in the Star Wars Galaxy @Sadie Erso ?
The Mandalorians were a clan based ethnic group that comprised of members from multiple species all bound by a common culture, creed, and code. They originated on the planet Mandalore in the galaxy's Outer Rim Territories and had a particularly important role in galactic history as legendary warriors against the Jedi. From their homeworld, Mandalorians had flourished across the Mandalorian Space and the galaxy at large, colonizing worlds such as Kalevala, Krownest, and Concord Dawn.
One thing that makes the Mandos confusing is that they have been portrayed pretty differently in various different adaptations, something that also applies to the Dathomirians.
I mostly know OT, EU, and ST.
Don't even ask me about the prequel trilogy.
I haven't even watched THOSE movies.
And I haven't even seen the Clone Wars/ Rebels/ Resistance series...
Its kind of hard to explain.
Ok, well Mandalorians, or one Mandalorian was in the OT, Boba Fett Even in EU, he appears later, older and not so healthy.
Sure you remember him?
Then you are missing something in my opinion. The PT doesn't have as much polish as the OT but it does a lot in terms of worldbuilding. Same for the TV shows who each have their clunkers and weak episodes but are generally very well made.
