A Jedi is one who can control his emotions when necessary, and who is at peace rather than overly emotional.

There is no ignorance, there is knowledge.

A Jedi is not ignorant, but gains knowledge, not to gain power, but to help others, and use increased power through gained knowledge to help others.

A Jedi can control his passions. A controlled burn is better than a raging fire. He/she is calm though inside can feel passion.

A Jedi's life is not out of order, but has all things in his/her life in it's proper place, time and manner.

A man who dies while in the Light becomes one with the Universe, of which the Force surrounds and binds and thus becomes One with the Force, which composes everything that is.

People criticize the character Reva but I think she's both well-written and well-acted.

I generally am drawn by goodness and light and am generally repelled by darkness and evil. As a Force Realist (The Faith and the Doubt, or Fato which is what anciently Fairy folk were called, or all the positive and negative energy in the universe, which according to particle physics is everything and I believe Mitochondrians serve the same function as Midichlorians) (and Hermeticism also teaches about the Force), I believe I have tapped into and used the Force from time to time. Because of my disposition to good, leads me to want to be a Jedi rather than Sith. (Also the Force is called the Ki in some cultures.)
