I think it would be a good deal of fun, as most of the boards doesn't, shall we say... appreciate the era like we do. I'm all for it, and will help where needed.

For right now, we're mainly just discussing what will go into the Awards and figuring out who'll be responsible for what. But this'll be the first place to look for news!

Perhaps you could give a short discription with each catagory Sabyne.
For Example the criteria for vignette 1000 to 5000 words, and so on.

One way you guys can help right now is by finding more people to get involved. So far, it just seems about 4-5 people are interested, and more would be nice. So ask around!

Also, remember the "Before" FanFic Award noms end on the 22nd. So if you see KotOR stories that you haven't nommed, feel free to do so!

 

Yeah, we definitely need to get more people in on this- variety is a good thing. I shall have to start covert recruiting... *slaps on Stealth Field belt and sneaks over to other KOTOR places to gather interest*

 

What a great idea Sabyne! Thanks for the PM. I've really enjoyed writing with the other authors on KotOR and I know there are a lot of good fics out there

Hurray, a KotOR thread! The Old Republic is one of my favorite time periods--mostly because you can have as many Sith and Jedi as you want. ;P

 

Welcome, Kip_Tipsy! w00t for more KOTOR fans. Glad you found your way to our little corner of the boards.

And a note to everyone- voting ends in two days for the Before the Saga awards, and there are some KOTOR fics in there, a few of which are one vote away from qualifying. So, if you feel the work is good enough, send in your own nominations if you haven't already.

I'm thinking opf having the KotOR awards here. In fact, I think that's the only way we can have them. I don't think separate threads are permitted for our own Awards, if I read Leona's PM correctly.

Hi! I'm a huge KOTOR fan! Anyway, good to know there's a base out around here. The only thing I've written is 'Failure'. It's a lead-up to my latest Fiction: The Sith Empire Series.

Not too much feedback from it. The title fits in well. LOL.
