Yes. Quite impressive that you got the character right. Those words would seem more in character with Reverend Mother, but nope, it's Jessica indeed, talking to Thufir.
I would have fallen into this trap.

The one speaking wants meat that happens to be "tender" - fairly soft meat.

The speaker and the two people they are speaking too are also not human.
