Assuming that we are in fact going to have a Halloween activity, I have an idea. We could have whoever is dressed up as Darth Maul on that night and whoever is dressed up as Obi-Wan perfrom sort of a small choreographed saber duel that would repeat every so often (we could possibly add Qui-Gon, but that would make it harder to pull off). The good thing about this is that it would be fun, and really exciting for the kids to watch (funner for them than watching us stand around, IMO anyway). Any comments?

Actually, that was the basic premise of Superclash, where we were dressed as superheros vs supervillains. We, in public planned fights (with imaginary weapons) and performed them in random areas. However during Superclash, it wasn't Halloween...

I think that's a good idea. It would just take some practicing, but that's ok.

    Greetings Everybody,

    Jace Taran asked...
    > Is it Halloweenish enough?

    Absolutely! :D

Thanks for the great idea, Jace. I happen to know some people who are very good at this sort of thing. ;)

    It shall be arranged.

    Greetings Everyone,

I'm trying to update my list of costumes and see what new ones can realistically be done by the 16th. ;)

Yoda: The boy has no patience.
Obi Wan: He will LEARN patience.

    :D

Uh oh, I know the next part (they didn't say it, but Yoda was thinking it)

    "I'll learn him some patience..."

Or, as he'd say "Some patience I will learn to him. Hmmm? Hmm hmm hmm hmm..."

Sorry guys, I'm just excited about this. :p

Wonder if the guy who's playing Vader in TOTJ will be there; if so, he probably has dibs. If I were, let's see, a foot and a half taller, maybe I'd try for it, but at my current height, I wouldn't reach the bottom of the suit!

Yeah, I'd say if he's going to be there, that he should definitely get to be Vader.

    But if not........

Oh you poor thing; stopping at 6'3"!

::Throws her hands up in exasperation.::

That's still a foot taller than me! It's not fair! Of course, it makes me the perfect size for the females of Star Wars.

    Greetings Guys,

Costume list should be up soon. With everything that is going on right now, this is a lesser priority. However, since I don't have to go to work, my wife and I are working on costumes all day today. ;)

There's still PLENTY of time before the 16th.

FYI, I'm 95% certain the Vader costume is already claimed. I've spoken to our TOTJ Vader several times about Halloween and the DVD pickup and he should be at both events.

Also, the Boba Fett costume is reserved. :D Sorry, Andakin. Besides at 6'3", you wouldn't even be able to get in the jumpsuit. Trust me.

There are PLENTY of costumes to go around. Also, if any of you out there would like to wear your own costume to either the DVD pickup or Halloween, you are more than welcome to.

Jedi-Durden: Welcome! I see that you've been lurking for almost a year and decided to make your first post right here on this thread. Are you from around here? You're name is very similair to another guy in the SLC area, Jedi-DoUrden. Any relation? Tell us about yourself. ;)

Can't wait for the list. ::Restrains herself from bouncing.:: I should be getting my mission call sometime around that date, so hopefully I won't have to miss it (DVD, not halloween).
