Oh, kind of like Half-Life 2D (Codename: Gordon). Looks awesome.

 

Codename Gordon did it first.

I saw these fan-made pics on on gamespot a long time ago.

 

This goes with the Halo Nintendo cartridge and midi Halo theme that showed up a while back

 

Is it safe to download this, or will my computer explode?

 

Ive been playin it on my laptop. The games pretty fun. I like how even the menu screen is a cartoony version of the original halo.

 

OMG...pass the diapers. This is damn cool stuff.

 

This game looks more interesting then the 3D version

 

I downloaded it, and now I can't get my 5 year old daughter off of it. Everytime I turn around, the Halo theme is thumping in my computer speakers. She's pretty good at it, too.

This game would have been better if it weren't for that mouse aim. Mouse aim in 2D games doesn't really work

Still the game is fun, better then playing through an average FPS game

 

It does work, it just takes a little getting used to.

 

As evidenced by Abuse, a production of the now-defunct Crack dot Com, mouse aim can indeed work in a 2D game. Indeed, the ability to aim in 360 degrees independent of your motion is not a luxury therein - it's more of a survival necessity. Remember how there was no true elevation in Doom?

 

I don't know if I want to get myself into something unofficial. It might ruin the story for me. If it has one.

 

It does have a story; indeed, the Halo Zero is based on events depicted in 'The Fall of Reach', which is itself a prequel to Halo.

 

In that case count me in.


A Few Minutes later: Wow c'est excellente! I was playing it in French before I realized I could change it to English. They couldn't have done this game any better!
