The writer is Marjorie Liu, the artist is Mark Brooks and that cover is done by Lee Bermejo. It'll be a five-issue limited run akin to the Princess Leia one we got last year.

Well, well, Leia had a mini, now it's Han's turn.

Brooks is a good choice too, as he isn't a monthly artist but his work's always good.

OK, what's so great about her? Last time I saw her name she was on dreck like Daken. Now, making a success of that is proof of skills to be sure. One I keep hearing about is Monstress - worth a trade gamble?

So this is in June, right? That means it will be released at the same time as the Episode VII adaptation? I had the impression TFA would take the miniseries slot after Obi-Wan and Anakin, but it looks like this does and the adaptation is just extra. I'm much more excited for this series, it looks like it will be fun.

Interesting they are doing so much Han stuff (this+Life Debt) with the anthology still coming up in 2018. You think if something significant happens in the anthology movie it'd be weird for it to never be mentioned again in any of the material covering his later life. I guess they sort of feel like they have free reign with Han now.

I guess it all depends on what actually happens in the Anthology movie, but if it was life-changing you'd expect there to at least be a throwaway mention to its events later on. That being said that doesn't stop me from being excited for this series.

I'm not really interested be neither the character or the era but I really like the interiors.

Actually, the initial versions of the script should be done. Maybe there can be an oblique reference to an event or person from the film in the comic or in Life Debt, both of which should take place well after the anthology film.

The movie could have the most cataclysmic trauma imaginable for Han but that doesn't mean there'll be cause for another story to mention it later on.

This kind of approach doomed Legends to always going forward, it's not a road I'd like the new stuff to take.

I had major heart surgery six years ago and I think it comes up in conversation about three times a year.
    ...but this is true.

MARJORIE LIU, that's AWESOME!!!!! I LOVE her. Also I was wondering when they'd get around to doing a Han Solo book finally?

I'm sure if appropriate, Story Group would say, "Hey, this funny joke, let's change the reference from x to z. No reason." And then have z end up being something that popped up in the Han Solo Anthology. Seems to be how they're working these days, which is awesome.
