Census Have you gotten the COVID vaccine booster yet?

Boosting tonight. Moderna.

 

Nearly 30 hours later and mostly just a sore arm. I felt tired and a little body aches. Nothing worse than a normal day.

 

Yeah, mostly a sore arm for me too.

 

Got my booster yesterday (Pfizer)... no issues today. Updated my vote above from "plan on getting it" to "gotten it".

 

#3 was on Monday, sore arm, not much else.

 

Got my booster. After two Pfizers this one was a Moderna.

 

Got it on Jan 2. Updated my vote.

Did the hat trick.

Dose 1: AstraZeneca
Dose 2: Pfizer
Dose 3: Moderna

 

And now I have a craving for Neapolitan ice cream. All I got was 3 helpings of Moderna.

Got my first 2 back in July, both Pfizer, and finally last Friday the booster by Moderna. Had a sore arm for the next couple of days, but not very bad. Didn't feel well the next day, no fever, dizziness or anything serious, just a slight general feeling of unwellness. Felt totally fine since.

 

I asked for the booster twice in December and was refused. 'Six months wait,' they said.

Covid then arrived in Cairns by the plane-load at the beginning of January. We have gone from zero cases to thousands in two weeks.

'Can I have the booster, now?" I asked.

'Yes! Take it, please take it!', they said.

So I did. I'm finally boosted. Now I have a 27 hour flight to catch, and I suspect the flight won't be the only thing I catch whilst confined in a tin box in the air with hundreds of others and no means of escape.

 

I got mine in November.

 

Got my older son his yesterday so 3/4th's of my family is boosted. Little one just got his second shot beginning of Dec, so no need for booster yet on his end.

 

Got my booster last Sunday. I got a fever of 101 24hrs later. Sore arm and body aches. Already had covid, and mask up at work and when out in public.

 

We got the Moderna booster Tuesday, by Wednesday we were achy and mom was super depressed and I was ridiculously cranky/angry and felt pain in my arm. I did stop the sniffles and scratchy throat yesterday, but cripes, I hope we won’t need any more of these.

 

I got my third dose last week. I usually get severe symptoms, and this time I had full-on vomiting. It sucked though I’m glad I got the boost. And a day off work.

 

I know it doesn’t mean much but thank you for getting your third dose. I knew people who gave up on dose one just because they had a bad reaction. Nothing close to that either. They are stupid. So thank you for protecting yourself and others.

 

Whether I‘m considered „boostered“ or not is complicated because I got J&J first (one shot), back in May. I got Biontech/Pfizer in December. In Austria I‘m considered booster, in Germany (I live near the border) I‘m not.

I just freaking got it yesterday...

 

My first two were Pfizer, booster was Moderna.

No side effects from the Pfizer jabs, mild headache & fatigue after Moderna.

 

Got mine January 11th.

It kicked my butt worse than the second shot. I assume that means my viral load was high, even tho I'm non-symptomatic?

I really should stop making out with strange hobos.

 

Only thing I noticed on my booster was my arm was sore below the injection site, not on the injection site, which was the only weird thing.

I'm also a hat trick medical marvel/rarity with 3 different vaxes of AstraZenica (April 30th), Pfizer (July 12), Moderna (Jan 3rd). Should blood to medical science or something.
