So I have this cough that started after I got my second dose. I don’t know if it’s a side effect or a coincidence. I do know it’s not Covid as I got a test for that as I was really worried. I am at ease knowing it isn’t Covid. So I guess it’s probably a side effect.

 

I took a look at the leaflet I got when I had my first Pfizer jab. Coughing isn't listed. Common side effects are pain at injection site, tiredness, headache, muscle pain, chills, joint pain, and fever. One of the uncommon ones is 'feeling unwell' but that covers a lot of ground. I think if you're concerned you might want to give your doctor a call.

 

I had my first dose of AZ today. I thought I was going to get the Pfizer vaccine, but (having just turned 40) I was given the AZ. I would have preferred the Pfizer vaccine, but I took what I was given.

My biggest worry is the damage that catching COVID could do to my career (any damage to my respiratory system could have me declared medically unfit for my job). So far, no side effects. Hopefully this continues.

 

Got my second Moderna shot two hours ago. So far, I feel fine, but I got some Tylenol, just in case.

 

You know I wonder how many of the nope not yet vote are never gonna get it. I hope it’s most that do.

Oh I understand why people haven’t yet. They either just haven’t had the time, or aren’t allowed to. It’s the thought that counts and so long as you go through with it eventually.

 

@Jedi Knight Fett maybe you can make a new one of these with votes visible and another option - not getting the vaccine.

 

The mods have made a god case why votes shouldn’t be visible.

 

We need that distinction.

 

Then just adding “not getting it”
