Edmonton HDDVD or Blu-ray...who will get Star Wars?

just out of curiosity who do you think will get Star Wars...I'm hoping Blu-ray.....I was disappointed to see The Matrix trilogy on HDDVD

 

I don't imagine either will get the trillogy until the technology proves itself; i think George learned from laserdisk and look how long it too to come out on regular dvd. Oh we all know that he loves to re-issue with those little tweaks here and there, but unless he has something new to add or another major anniversary it'll be a while before we see the trillogy in another format- even if it is an upadate of the prevelant technology. He'll most likely wait until more people in the marketplace have one or the other; the rapid way technology changes and updates, there will most likely be a wait until one or the other is the dominate format in the marketplace.

 

yeah I agree, dvd is still the main area of use right now dh and blue ray will probably have to wait a while before gerorge gives it to them when more have players
