Hi Hello at last; I've been watching you

    I guess this is overdue ... anyway, hey, all.

    I've been following these boards since around 1998 or 99 ... I can't remember exactly, but I want to say I watched people riffing on the Phantom Menace trailers, so that would put it before May of 1999.

    I was particularly fond of the old caption contests, where everyone would make relentless fun of how rarely that thing got updated. And it was also my introduction to the Star Wars Holiday Special, because one of the contests dared us to caption a screen from the infamous "Stir-whip" scene. ... anyway.

    So I finally figured I should actually join the conversation instead of stalking creepily. For two decades. I feel old. My name and avatar should say something about my particular brand of Star Wars fandom. It's lovely to actually participate! Yay!
