Hi Hi! I'm a FanFic Writer.

Hello everyone!

Just with one question: Is there a limit in the number of sotries that writers can post in the FanFic Section of this web page?
I have a few Star Wars Fan Fics I would like to share. I've posted one today, but I'm wondering if there's a limit.

Also, for those more experienced FanFic Writers in this site... What is the best way to post a Fic with multiple chapters?

Hi @Jâd Sphera and welcome to the JCF!

While there's no limit to how many stories you can have on the boards, we do ask that you don't post a bunch of stories all at once. Usually not post more than two stories or updates in any given day. And if you have a bunch of stories you want to post, we ask that you space them out pretty far apart (so not just post two a day until they are all posted). The reason for this is everyone wants their stories to be on the front page so they are seen, and if you post a bunch of stories/updates at once then you dominate the front page.

As for posting chapters, you just put a new post in your thread. The best thing to do to get readers here is to post one chapter and then wait at least a few days to a week before posting the second chapter. People like to take the time to read and comment on each chapter and if you post a bunch at once, they may just not take the time.

Hi there. I'm glad to officially welcome you here. Your debut was a blast to read. I look forward to your further fic posts. I really like the "Like" function here, because even when you think no one's reading your story there are more lurkers than you realize.

I'm also looking for someone who might be interested in proof reading my chapters before posting and help me correct any grammar mistakes. I get VERY apprehensive about it. English is not my first language, you know; and I try my best, but I do know I make mistakes.
