    I think someone speculated about this earlier, but I do agree that:

    this is where Nick loses his eye, and I think Director Krennic...I mean Ben Mendelsohn's character will be the one to do it.

    Also interesting that, with the main story and Earthbound events being still set in the 90's, it means her "origin" really predates the 90's in all likelihood.

    Do her powers slow her aging, perhaps? It could explain how they'll get her into A4 eventually without having to use time travel or carbonite.

    I would accept the world shifting to 19/3/8 but otherwise enjoy locating that day without knowing what month of the calendar to first search for it within. ;)

    Honestly, your nations inability to write dates correctly, put "U"'s in words correctly (Can also include "E"'s too) and use the decimal system just perplexes me.

    While, organizationally, it would, on the surface, seem logical to organize the information smallest-to-largest (8/3/19) or largest-to-smallest (19-3-8), that's not the order that you need the information presented to you.

    As a month value's context is fixed while a day value can fall on any position within a week (or spill over into two different weeks) in any month, a day value presented initially is of limited use unless: A) You have already been provided the month value to search within or B) Query to obtain the month value to search within.

    In either scenario, you still need the month number provided to you first before a day number has value. That just leaves the year number, which is often unnecessary in common use and, thus, can be tacked-on to the end or, to provide a descending order organizational benefit, the front.

    You can equally argue the month value is as unneccessary as the year value. You know what year it is, you should know the month. Unless you’re the sort of Meff who needs the month first because looking at the middle number dat is too confusing!

    The first number changes daily

    The second number changes uh.. monthly

    The last number has an annual update.



    It's simple. I mean it's probably too complex for Trump but I'm sure most 'muricans could do it with a little effort.

    After a while it's second nature.

    Article sez it'll "sidestep the traditional origin story and she already has her powers" which reminds me of how they did Spider-Man: Homecoming but while that movie was origin flashback less, I really think we'll get a five minute powers origin bit for Carol at some point.

    The American date system is weird. Like why the hell would you put the month before the day? It’s like saying your middle name first, followed by your first and last.

    90s Nick Fury shot kinda exploded my brain. He's 2nd on the cast list so there's probably a whole hellova lot of de-aged SLJ. Looks kinda like cira The Negotiator Samuel L Jackson to me.

    Hair and no eye patch probably help with de aging him without CGI.

    Clark Gregg is also reprising Phil Coulson in the movie as well.
