Ugh so that means six weeks of nothing between the end of Boba’s show and the start of MK?

 

yah I was hoping for an unbroken streak of Marvel/Star Wars interchanging for 52 weeks. I doubt D+ ever wants them both to land on the same day, although we may get a few two-fers like when Hawkeye came out. Although I'm sure something like Bad Batch / What If animation may overlap.

 

I was hoping the Moon Knight would drop the same week as The Batman, as it would be something that Marvel would do.

Definitely looking forward to the series, but probably won't watch the trailer when it drops.

 

If they’re going ahead with reshoots right now, early March isn’t feasible with the completion of FX etc. I am frankly surprised that the rumored date is in March given the FX etc. (the scale sounds nuts, given the deity wars taking place in ancient & modern Egypt, but what do I know?)

And despite Oscar & Ethan, MK would be drowned out if it was released the same week as The Batman presuming Covid won’t push back the release of that film.

I think it’s wonderful we’re getting MK and a great looking Batman Year One in the same year.

Anyway, we’ll see.

John Wick style fighting. It’s very comic book style. Also, like that the kill shot is not on camera, another way to make it more violent without showing the actual moment.

BTW this looks like the Marc versus mercenaries fight sequence that was mentioned in some spoiler reports a few months ago.

 

Okay, I was politely corrected by Jamel himself. He said this footage is NOT for Moon Knight, but made while he and the stunt team were filming Moon Knight. My bad.

Still, it does look like a plausible gun fu fight style for Marc.

Oh, Jamel was also part of the Indiana Jones 5 stunt crew.

 

I am starting to see another leak of the main MK suit, but after my gaff with the presumption about that stunt footage and in following forum rules, I am not reposting that image. Even without that gaff, I wouldn’t do it.

There will be plenty of official content to post soon enough.

Speaking as a long time fan, for everyone who is new to Moon Knight, welcome. He’s weird, violent, touching, and profound. I expect the D+ characterization to cover most of those areas.

I’m surprised it’s so late. With Book of Boba ending this month, what is the plan for streaming for February and March (since Moon Knight is literally the end of that month).

On the other hand, it probably means Ms. Marvel and She Hulk will follow fairly quickly. With Dr. Strange in early May, and Kenobi rumored for May the 4th, I could see the next one in June/July.

I hate the song playing through the trailer, but I love that they seem to have subverted the Steven Grant persona and made him the audience surrogate.

In the comics, Steven Grant was the millionaire persona, here he’s the bumbling British Everyman. Marc will probably be the vicious mercenary and closer to Moon Knight. I’m kind of getting a Total Recall riff here in addition to them playing with the D.I.D.

Wouldn’t be surprised if I’m right in that Marc’s alters emerge as a result of the Snap, as Layla (Marlene? (on the phone)) says she thought Marc was dead.

Think that was Khonshu instead of the Declan Shalvey Khonshu bone armor suit, but both would be killer too.

Right now, I am more excited for Moon Knight (over Steven), Ethan (His character’s name is Arthur Harrow? Have no idea who that is), Khonshu, and the other Egyptian gods, but we’ll see how this plays out.
