This thread is funny. It reminds me of the single best answering machine message I've ever heard: "If you'd like to leave a message, please press 9 and hang up." There were a lot of messages that were just "Beep. Click."

I'm will Sil on this one. MacOS keyboard shortcuts are so much better than Windows'. Even with the addition of the Windows key, I still don't feel like I have the complete functionality [even though the Windows key has more functions] that the Mac does.

 

yea most people don't realize what the windows key *does* let alone know you can use it for shortcuts. i don't know most of them, and the only one i've ever used is R for the run command

I still don't know a lot but I do have fun on occasion ignoring my mouse and just using my keyboard.... until I realize my homework's due soon and I'd better get to real work



EDIT: I thought I'd add a shortcut or two I know.

Windows key + D = Desktop
Windows Key + M = All windows minimized

What's the difference?!?!?! ?

ALT + Tab will maximize a minimized window.

To undo the minimize, press SHIFT + Windows key + M.

Cool shortcut: F5 refreshes your current window. I use it all the time

make a link-file with that command line and start it (only win9x, I think (not sure))

 

to see the inside of your computer hit ctrl+alt+delete twice fast!

or if you have a modem how to tweak it up to broadband! take your modem card out and put a heat gun on it for about 5-7 minutes. works like a charm
