Pretty good overall:

-The visuals look really good, especially since the effects are probably not completely done yet.
-I was hoping that Cumberbatch would use his natural accent, as he has a cool voice. But he does sound good nonetheless.
-Tilda shaved her head for this, respect.

 

They avoided showing him in full costume. Obviously saving that for the "real" trailer.

Anyway, very good teaser, imo. I'm really very hopeful for this film.

Maybe the "real" trailer will provide a bit more - as it stands I think this is going to be a movie about staring at hands.

(Before anyone chooses to educate or inform me on Dr. Strange's backstory, yes, I know, he's an arrogant surgeon whose healing hands were poetically damaged permanently, thus forcing him to sublimate his own ego and eventually study magic - thanks.)

 

Teaser was great. Looking forward to November now.

-That shouldn't be a surprise, going all out for a role is her thing.

 

Soooooo, I know we touched on it earlier, but... Tilda Swinton looks really white for the Ancient One's role. I had thought with her normal androgyny in a lot of her looks they'd be going for something different, and thus justifying of her casting, but... she looks like an even-whiter Lieutenant Ilea decided to become the Ancient One.

It's at least not as bad as Joel Grey in Remo Williams: The Adventure Begins....

Brianjennings Chuckycheeses has the look, but can he hold his own against Tilda Swinton? I forgot Rachel McAdams is in this.

I'm in. Love the new poster and I love the teaser. It fully sets up the story, Tilda reminds me of the bald Wing Chun abbess in 1976 version of Shaolin Temple (a good thing) and the Cumberbun convinced me. His performance is the clincher and I hope the magic will be more than quantum physics and such. At any rate, I'll definitely be seeing this in the theatre.

Very happy for Derrickson and his long time cowriter, but too, as a long time Doctor Strange fan, I can dig it.

 

I dunno man. Barfighter Chumbucket didn't seem that way in The Imitation Game or Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy.

 

That's called acting! Very good acting. That's how I know Buggerditch Clamaham will be fine with Toldya Swansong.

 

I think that Benekhan Cumberstrange will do just fine, playing "arrogant geniuses" is something that he can do in his sleep. I'm still disappointed that Rachel McAdams us just playing yet another Marvel non-powered (presumably) love interest. She's have been great as Clea I think.

 

So is that Mads voice in the beginning? Sounds like him.
