Winter was an expert at swiftly assessing whom she could trust. She had dealt with Fulcrum on more than one occasion.

She even had a meet-and-exchange with CorSec agents. The pass-phrase had been:

"I travel. I'm a licensed troubleshooter."

Now that the main conflict with the Empire was over, her vigilance was less intense than prior, and she savored every day of peace with her friends and family.

Leia was like a sister and the Solo kids were as precious to her as if they were her own.

Winter possessed a flawless memory, which could be a burden at times; but as she stockpiled happy serene memories, those rainbows and roses kinds of days was what she held on to.

Nice! I like the idea of Winter as the "licensed trouble-shooter." It's a blessing that within that perfect memory, she can prioritize the memories that make her the happiest. Especially since she has seen more than her share of ugliness and sorrow.

 

I agree. She can compartmentalize and keep the icky ones way, way back in the cobwebby corners.
