Full Series Hondo...The Most Interesting Man

I liked Hondo's sense of humor, but you can't convince me that Ventress wasn't the more interesting character overall.

Wasn't there someone else, besides Han, Chewie, and Rey, who also had possession of the Falcon?

Well TFA had some weird and stupid running gag where Ducain stole the Falcon. Then the Irving Boys stole it from Ducain, then Plutt stole it from the Irving Boys & Rey stole it from Plutt.

Difference with Chewie was that he entrusted the ship to Hondo of all people, who reneged on giving it back and all of that kinda thing.

 

Hondo is an excellent character. He needs to be represented in the films also. Hopefully he'll be in the "Bad Batch" series coming up.

 

I love Hondo, he’s the only character who regularly makes me laugh

 

I can't believe that I just found out he's voiced by the same guy who does Winnie the Pooh. What a range!

Now I can just imagine him trying to smuggle a ship full of honey out of a system.

 

Hando is EPIC I hope he has a cameo at some point.

 

One of the best new characters introduced in TCW. However, I make hime a bit clownish in Rebels. But still, a great new character!

 

Hondo live action in one of these shows!

 

I wonder if Jim Cummings would work. Maybe CG.

 

In the live action video bits of Smuggler's Run at Galaxy's Edge, Cummings voices Hondo while another actor in prosthetics does the visual performance.

 

I like Cummings' take on Hondo's voice. Hondo is pretty funny overall. I always interpreted him as a chaotic neutral. He can do the right thing if he's persuaded or if it's in his interests. Sometimes, however, he's a dick who bites off more than he can chew.

 

Hondo is the key to all of this. From Anakin and Kenobi too Han Chewie, Chirrut, Qira and last we see him with him and Ezra. I think sooner or later he will return in animation and in live action. You already got his live action at Galaxy Edge with him in Sequel era.
