Well, at least you are here to reminisce.

We did once have a client stuck in the lift for about an hour - it had opened too far down, so he was essentially trapped as all we could see, with the doors open, was his head. After about an hour I nudged the solicitor he had been in to see. "Your client is still in the lift... you probably should at least check on him... no?"

I'm so frustrated with the direction the sequels are going. We'll have to see how they tie everything together, but I'm not optimistic.

Episode 7 adapted George’s treatment... it just increased the Han and reduced the Luke.

George always said he intended to make Palpatine the big bad in his original treatments for the sequels (before he invented the second Death Star and beat Palpatine in RotJ) and then he emphasised that Dark Empire is what he would have done otherwise.

So.......

I would have expected to see it mostly being like this anyway.

Besides, y’know, X-wings vs TIEs, goodies with armour which shows your face, baddies with armour which doesn’t, more lumpy good ships against pointy bad ships, and more blue or green blades vs red blades. Which is all that was going to happen anyway.

It’s all the same story in the different eras. With some fun variations but yeah.
