I'd give you some ideas, but I don't know they'd be entirely legal...

Well the dog rolled in a really soft poo 10 minutes into our walk so I had to bring him back early and scrub him down with some cold water and flannel.

Although this has reminded me I need to do a Twilight post.

Seeing as @spacelady has already informed you all, you now know what we've been up to largely for this week. So, apologies for those games waiting on me! Though I managed a couple posts in the hospital before energy was too low. There's that at least. :p

Here's hoping normalcy kicks in at some point soon. lol

The only thing I BEG of you is 'please don't see your child as perfect and unable to cause trouble or make mistakes or even be mean'!! They are all capable of it, and if their parents believe them to be utterly perfect, they almost feel they have free rein!!! Seen it so many times. "My son would never do that!" when you saw their child do it.......boggles the mind.

And the whole shotgun thing often leads to your child sneaking about in an attempt to see someone they KNOW you won't approve of, or even going out of their way to choose someone they hope will upset you! Its the nature of the beast. Speaking from experience here. I have since found out (now she's an adult) that those nights I dropped her at a friends and watched her go in to stay the night only to find out in the last year that there was an older boy that she and the other girl met and took them to a party in the hills that they stayed the night at!! The other girls parents were 'cool' with it, so I didn't know till last year. She was 15! Teenagers are cunning, creative, sneaky and imaginative.........keep that in mind.

Also keep in mind, once they are adults, you have no control, good or bad..........its like watching a train smash in slow motion sometimes......nothing you can do to stop it, just be there when the pieces fall. :(

Absolutely agree with @Adalia-Durron regarding the perfect child nonsense. Work in the educational field and my mother did as well; seen it too many times. Drives me up the wall.

As for the being unable to stop your teenager thing however....You don't know me too well. [face_mischief] [face_devil]

    Oh bless you.

@Darth_Elu, I don't have utter control of my 3 and 6 year old.

I would love to hear your proposals to handle teenagers. ;)

The whole teenage thing is one of a few reasons why I've been putting off having kids... [face_laugh]

Oh, @Sinrebirth, it's really actually quite simple. It involves a lot of chains attached to the walls and sedatives stashed in reserve. For starters.

    :)O:)

Okay, yes, I accidentally 'liked' somethings from 2017. But it happens and I owned it.

Condolences to those who are about to go 'what the tree fiddly?'

4:50 pm, posted at 3:22 am ET. I get the time zone hour difference. What's up with the 30 minute (approximate) difference?
