In other news, my CK 2 game is finally on its second generation. My Counties extend from Alto Aragon, my starting point, to County Rosello in the ESE, then Southwards along the coast to Castello/Castelian whatever that county is called, north to Calatalyud, and then through Saragossa(or whatever it is) back to Alto Aragon. Of course, my first king did start in his 20s. I married my daughters of to Pisa, The Holy Roman Empire, Genoa(she died a year later sadly), and my heir married the eldest daughter of the Kaiser. With the double marriage I get dragged into a lot of wars by him as he keeps his empire together,but relations are strong. My heir sadly died of Typhoid but that's the plus of having 8 kids, 5 of them male. My talks for marriage with the Byzantine Empire(currently ruled by a kid and his still kid sister) haven't been fruitful as of yet. I got the king of Leon's only eligible heir in a matrilineal(spellcheck) marriage with my first king's granddaughter(The daughter of my first heir before he died.) and hope to eventually use that to take over Leon when I get that far. All in all I am quite happy with where I am.

 

Gosh darn it, I'm so tempted to join the Heroes game. But the character I want, (while in a comic) isn't Dark Horse or Marvel or DC or any of them

I will also admit to doing a little dance at the finding out that we do in fact have someone playing Superman.

 

It's a comic book game; I'm not going to limit it to just those publishers. That said, I've had to shoot down a player asking about Star Wars, and the funny pages in the newspaper don't exactly count

 

Well on the plus side it isn't SW or a newspaper comic strip

 

My attitude on fence concepts (As in, you're not sure if it'll fly or not) is to just ask before you whip up the CS. That way, even if you get shot down, you at least know.

Welp, the first season of Spartan Ops has officially ended with the release of its last episode. Boy did that end with a bang and now it seems that the UNSC will be having more problems to deal with in the future what with apparently making enemies with Dr. Halsey Though, knowing that person, I'm sure its just a one big ruse.

 

I wish I had time for role playing like I used to... DRL gets tougher the older you get.

Welp, looks like Aliens: Colonial Marines has suffered a similar fate as Duke Nukem: Forever. That being that it was in development for nearly a decade and then, upon release, it was utter garbage

And of course this game is considered as canon...which includes the survival of Corporal Dwayne Hicks
