Ok, I have a question. I didn't book my hotel through the housing block since we used my dad's marriott points. That only means that I possibly won't be near the other CV guests at my hotel, right?

 

Well since I couldn't find a roommate, I think I'm going to cancel my room at the Rosen Plaza and be moving up the street and rooming with Grimby at the Embassy Suites.

Okay, so my friend and I are booked for a two bed suite in the Comfort Inn. This was because we're both poor college students and it's only $65 a night for both of us together, but knew the necessity of having a pool at the hotel considering the setting of the con. The fact that we're staying an extra two nights doesn't help much in the money regard, but eh. We wanted wanted to make it an adventure. Like Bilbo!

Anyone else going to be staying there? I haven't gone through the thread yet, as I was intimidated by what I had to wallow through.

 

So I finished reading the thread, which doesn't seem to have really been necessary since everything on the first post is apparently up to date, plus it took longer because I ended up comparing rates for other hotels, even though I'd already paid my one night plus tax ages ago it would be difficult to get my friend to change to a more expensive place, even if it had more amenities and was closer. Plus the deadline for the CV deals was Wednesday, and all of the prices, as expected, skyrocketed. Ah well.

So I have one fellow TF.Ner confirmed for the Comfort Inn, in MajinKaze. Yay! Also, I forgot to mention before my edit time ran out that a non TF.N friend is also accompanying me. He isn't really much of a Star Wars fan. He just thought it would be fun....we must turn him, if possible. Also, I'm starting to worry about the transportation at night, when we want to go to say the miniature golf on Friday or need to get back from a party late at night. Not to mention whenever I head over to the Con Saturday morning to get a Lucas wristband. My hotel is 1.5 miles from the con. I'll have plenty of cash on me, as I don't have a credit card (I paid my dad back after he used his credit card). I don't do checks either, or even debit. Not in everyday transactions, anyway. Is this weird for a 20 year old in 2010? I didn't even get a bank account for myself until last August, when I'd already been a full-time college student for a full year...

 

MrZAP, the only thing I know for sure is I*Ride Trolley goes until 11:30pm.
Go on-line and get an "unlimited" pass. Or, pay $1.25 each trip. Exact change only.
1-day = $4.00
3-day = $6.00
5-day = $8.00
7-day = $10.00

When you pay on-line, keep the receipt as proof of purchase and give it to the bus driver. He will then give you the pass. Good luck!

Thanks. I already intend to buy a 7 Day Pass. But there are still those nights such as Thursday where we have the TF.N party, among other things. I have no idea how late it'll go onto some nights.
