From Last Game...

Camaas: the two groups (Jimmy/Alexi's group and the Jedi) finally hooked up at the Camaas spaceport. They immediately decided to leave and blasted their way passed a blockade of strange black cruisers that were materilizings around the planet; the same ships Alexi saw in her vision and the same ones Gills claims attacked the planet.

Jimmy went off with the Jedi to Corsucant, and Alexi took her ship to Malistire to see Valorrum. While there, she realized that Valorrum was acting strangley. He had a new associate, a Madam Zir, that crept her out. Gills recognized Zir as someone he'd encountered before, and someone he suspected her of doing something very odd to Jimmy, so they decided to take their money and leave Malistire. As soon as they did so, troops dressed in black leather armor came after them, but they were able to escape.

On Cosucant, Cliff, Eric and Courtney delivered Laz to her agent Jimmy (a different Jimmy), but found Jimmy murdered. Laz, believing that Cliff and Eric killed Jimmy, paid them to let her go in peace. She fled into hidding. Eric, Cliff and Courtney went back to their ship. There, they met a mysterious man named Trag. He told them he'd been looking for Laz and wanted them to acquire her for him. He said that he had powerful ties to the Republic, and not only would they be paid for helping, but they could also get some rather lucritive contracts with the Republic government in the future if they agreed to help him. They accepted the offer and went out to find Laz.

But they are not the only ones trying to find her. After their chase from the last game, Reenee and Leo go back to the Jedi Temple, then back out to find Laz. They find her hiding in a warehouse. She agrees to tell the Jedi the terrible truth about the fate of the galaxy if they'll take her safely to the far end of the galaxy and leave her there. The Jedi agree and give the assignment to Reenee and Leo to carry out.

Cliff and co. track Laz down to the Jedi temple. They come up with this bizzare plan to distract the Jedi and sneak in. It almost works. Cliff is able to sneak in and steal his gun back, but then is caught. The group is taken before Jedi Masters Lumina and Mundi. They explain that they have come for Laz and ask her to come with them. She refuses. They contact Trag, who contacts his surperiors. Chairman Sim Aloo of the Force Oversight committee contacts the Jedi Council and orders them, in the name of the Republic, to hand over Laz [insert prelude to the Jedi Purge here]. As obediant Jedi, they do so, but they know they have done the wrong thing, so they begin to plan how they can free her.

 

Sorry, everyone, but I didn't have time to spellcheck the above. I'm sure it's littered with errors.

 

S'okay. your not the only one who leaves a litter of errors. I just flat refuse to look at the screen while i type so I never know whats going to end up there

 

I lied; Alexi and Kiandra will be making an appearence today.

 

I enjoyed our game. Very action packed.

On a sad note, Renee's Jedi is getting transfered to the Clone War front. In other words, she won't be able to make future games. Renee, if you change your mind, feel free to drop back in. During the meantime, your character will be safer off on the front than with the group dealing with Palpatine and the Legion

Chlimeer. you currently are in possession of my heavy blaster and are incharge of recovering the Genesis (my ship)which has been impounded with the help of some npc named Felix. Feel free to use them as you see fit. I do want them back in one peice, btw the ship is missing a hatch (long story, don't ask). Sohave fun with my stuff while I go meet with some weirdo's.

Hello, I was just wondering about our next game.

 

The next game will be held on November 9th from 1pm to 6pm. I believe that it is going to be at Voyager Toys again. When Darth-Stryphe gets back in town he will post more details.

EDIT - Opps! Correction, yes, as Renee said, it appears everything is set for the 9th. I am trying to catch up with all my FF corrispondence at once, which can be a confusing thing.

 

Last game:
The Jedi decided it was necessary to rescue Laz to find out how much of what she knows is true. But they couldn't officially be involved, so they sent Charles the tech, Jacob the wookie, Melissa the padawan, and our friendly former secret agent who everyone wants to see dead, Jeff.

Eric, Courtney and Cliff, meanwhile, take Laz to Trag, whom in turn escorts them all to Republic Intelligence Headquarters. Trag gets Cliff to interrogate Laz, asking him to find out more about the mysterious bodyguard she had.

During the interrogation, the heroes broke in and a fight broke out. Trag ordered Courtney and Cliff to kill the other player-characters. During the battle, Trag and his men were killed. As soon as this happened, and as soon as Eric realized that one of the people trying to free Laz was a Jedi, they holstered their weapons, formed a truce and tried to figure out what the heck was really going on. As they were talking, more Republic soldiers rushed into the area and started shooting at the group, both groups (the mercenary group and Jedi group). Jeff led them out of danger and towards an escape path he knew of, but it was blocked. Just as another battle was about to break out, Jedi Master Jorus Ca'Both rushed out of nowhere and made quick work of the remaining Republic soldiers. Cliff and Eric were stunned to see that he survived the Outbound Flight. Oddly enough, Ca?Both doesn't seem to remember them, or at least hasn't admitted to knowing them yet. Anyway, Ca?Both led everyone to an escape speeder and everyone made it out safely.

Back at Jedi headquarters, Laz tells the group, Master's Ca'Both, Yoda, Windu, Lumina and Mundi how a race of dark side force users known as the Legion are planning an invasion of the Republic. It has already begun, she explains, as she tells them that Camaas has not joined the Separatists, but rather has been massacre by the Legion as part of their invasion. The message broadcasting their defection is a smokescreen. She also explains that while she was with the Legion, they told her that Palpatine was really a sith lord, and that Palpatine and Dooku have staged the war as a means to take over the galaxy. The sith and the Legion are supposedly working together on this, but the Legion plans on betraying them both and conquering the galaxy for themselves.

Yoda considers this, and decides that the Legion is indeed a great threat, but he doesn't believe Palpatine is a sith. He thinks this is a trick the Legion have dreamt up in hopes to turn the Jedi against the Republic.

Meanwhile, Alexi, Gills, and Amanda fly off to Endor to hang out and wade things out. They arrive there, but find two Separatists ships occupying the area, so they flee to Sullust. On Sullust, Gills is arrested for the murder of Valoruum and Alexi and Amanda are "rescued" by the port authorities and taken to a local hospital. At the hospital, Alexi and Amanda learn that the police believe Gills kidnapped them. When they assured the police this was not true, and that they had gone with Gills willing, the police then charged them with collaborating in Valoruum's murder. Alexi and Amanda made a get away and went into hiding. They contacted Jimmy Bond for help. Jimmy gave them a name of a Republic operative on Sullust who could help them, or so he believed. Amanda went to get help from the operative, and Alexi went off on her own. Alexi was then approached by a mysterious man who claimed to know her mother. He offered to get her safely off the Sullust. She reluctantly agreed. The man took her to a shuttle and transporter her to the Legion fleet.

 

I was interested in finding out wherte I was going but alas I will be at the Renaissance festival on saturday and will have to wait untill the next game.

Sounds like everyone just abandoned Gills...oh, but don't worry...there are ways out of jail cells...

Game notes update:
Last game was short, so the notes will be brief.

Yoda did not believe the Legion's accusation against Palpatine, but wandered why they would make them and admitted that something fishy was going on in the government. So, he decided to launch an investigation into the Legion and put Caboth in charge of it. Orcheck and Argile agreed to help, and Caboth agreed to pay the mercenaries for their help (wanting to keep a close eye on them). Caboth then sent the Jedi to interigate the Legion prisoner they picked up on Camaas. Keethry was unable to learn anything from him, but did establish that the Legion functions as a sort of cult.

Jimmy Bond and Laz leave Corsucant to investigate Laz's cult. Laz knows the Legion is interested in her cult, but why? They go to Alderaan to see what they can learn from one of the sects, feeling it would be too dangerous to probe into the matter on Coruscant.

Next, the Jedi and Orcheck go to Laz's family estate. Caboth had ordered them to find the Legion bodyguard that Laz's cult had been using. Keethry pretended to be interested in joining the cult and went to talk to Laz's mom. While inside, she used the force to see if the Legion guard was still there, but could sense nothing. So she started to leave, but someone stopped her and asked if she had any information about Laz's whereabouts. Keethry feigned ignorance and left. Dissatified, the Jedi decided to keep the Laz homestead under servilance. But while doing so, Keethry was approached by two men who ordered her back into the house. Not wanting to reveal her Jedi identity, Keethry complied.

Meanwhile, Gills is taken prisoner by the Republic and is charged with the murderer of Valorum. Gills makes a get-away, but is unsuccessful. However, as luck has it, the prison transport is attack and sieged by Seperatists. They take Gills to the leader of the Banking Clan, who offers him a job. Gills teams up with baby fett. The Banking Clan wants Gills to solve the mystery of Camaas, and after speaking with him, they believe the mysterious Madam Zir has the answer, so they send him out to find her.

 

Who or What is Madam Zir?
Cortney and I will be at the game but we'll probably be a little late.

 

Madam Zir was the weird lady hanging out at Valorum's that freak you out.
