Census How do you celebrate Halloween?

Other: I just eat the candy. My mom and dad pass it out

Other -- I get dressed up for fun (sometimes -- I didn't last year) and/or for school, occaisonally pass out some of the candy, let my parents pass out most of the candy while I practice piano and snitch candy from the basket.

 

I don't do much at all. Maybe I'll go to a party. Always lived in the country, so there were never trick-or-treaters around.

 

It depends on the year. This year, some friends want to go trick or treating, so I'll probably do that.

 

I love Halloween. I used to go trick or treating until I was about 16. This year I'm going to a costume party, I can't wait.

I usually watch scary movies. We've had bad rain the last two Halloweens, so we had a lot of left over candy

I go all out -- costume: pass out candy, go trick-or-treating, etc. I love trick or treating.

I had to stop going trick-or-treating when I was 10 cause I was so tall the adults looked at me funny. One of them even asked me if I was too old to be doing this sort of thing.

 

I pass out candy. And also decorate in our yard with some cool (fake) spider webbing and such.

Well technically some aussies do, but most don't really care.

Our family turns people away... or give out fruit

 

We are volunteering at 2 Trunk or Treat events so I'll dress up, pass out candy and take my kid around the event.

 

We don't have Halloween here, I can't even remember the date of Halloween. I know it's somewhere in autumn, but that's it.


Actually this year is the only year I have celebrated it even a little bit. Though that was because I was playing the 10-day trial of World of Warcraft, and they had many Halloween events and decoration all over the region I mostly played in.

 

Other - I usually help with an event my church puts on for kids in the community. Never got into the costumes and such...people tell me to take my mask off all year round.

I plan on dressing up and going to a couple of parties this weekend. Also going to a haunted house thinger this week. The rest of the time, I'll be watching tons of spooky movies.

I live in a secured building in the city, so I don't get trick-or-treaters. Which is kind of a shame, since I don't have to decorate... my apartment looks Halloweeny all year round.

 

They don't have Halloween here (if one doesn't count the apparently pretty futile attempts by merchants to introduce it to kids during the last few years).

I don't really do anything which is technically an Other since Halloween is (unfortunately) slowly making its way into the shops and world here in Aus. It's just not that large yet.

Orange is my favourite colour however, so I approve of the colouring.

 

Nothing, Halloween lost it's magic after I grew up.
