How do you rate the DVD changes, as a whole?

I give it 3 stars.

I like most of them, my favourite being aurabesh in ANH.

Hayden Christensen - OK, but waiting for Ep. III for a good explanation.

Jabba change - Still not good.

Greedo - Better than the SE.

Ian as Emperor - OK. Only, he doesn't look great...

But on a whole it is better than the SE.

 

The only thing that bugs me is the green saber in ANH, the rest is acceptable and great.

 

I loved pretty much all of it... except for ghost Hayden. I don't care if it makes 'sense' after ROTS, that **** ain't right.

 

Nothing but the originals is acceptable.

That is what i voted. I will watch them once, probably, and then pretend that they don't exist. After pouting profusly about it, of course.

 

4- minor problems(i.e. Greedo shoots first-- yes, it's a MINOR problem, everyone)

 

I gave it a 4 by the way, I also thought the Greedo shooting first looked better than it used to.

 

I gave it a four. Jabba still has problems. Other than that I enjoyed whacting it 99.9% more on DVD than VHS.

Now that I've Seen all three movies I can Vote.

I Give the Changes 4 stars... I am Happy With Every One Except the Change to Boba Fetts Voice... It Was Unneccesary.

 

I voted for 4, but it's really like a 4.7.

That's mainly due to the muting of the Battle of Yavin score, though the green/white lighsaber didn't help.

But most everything else is awesome.

 

The lightsabers were a bit distracting, and some matte boxes are much more apparent now. I think the problem is they cleaned 'em up so much, the flaws now stand out more.

But the good outways the bad by far. The Emperor, Greedo, the scream, Leia's blaster, R2-D2 frame jumps, the rancor, etc. were all wonderful changes.

 

I voted 5.I love the new DVD's! There are a few minor things I don't like.But I don't dislike them enough to give the set a 4.

Bring on CELEBRATION III and EPISODE III!

4 - I love and am happy with absolutely everything except the new-new ep4 Jabba, and the young Anakin ghost, but that last one is for a whole other discussion entirely that's been beaten to death!

I know what you mean! I love Hayden, but he really didn't fit in well at all in ROTJ.
