How do you rate The Matrix Reloaded?

Very Good. Four Stars.

Had to take a star off for the extremely slow first half hour of the movie. After that though, I enjoyed it very much.

 

Great movie, but a little confusing and there were some logic holes in there.

All in all, four stars.

 

Saw it last Thursday night.

I have to say that it is much MUCH better than any of the SW prequels so far by far, IMHO.

Mind you, I've been a SW fan from the very beginning.

 

Good. Not great, not crap - just good.

 

It was four-star -- it didn't have a plot, really. I liked the action and the fascinating characters, tho.

I only gave it 4 stars, While I still enjoyed, I found some parts very confusing, and it also gets extra points for Agent Smith

 

3 *'s. I never thought I'd say this about an action movie, but the fight scenes were too long. I mean he fought 100 Agent Smiths for 45 mins. I was like, "End it already!!!"
And what's up with the rave going on during the love scene? It was a good movie and I was entertained, but some stuff just seemed like they were trying to get over your head. "I've created a program that operates outside the parameters of perfection." What?

 

It was good. Not as good as I was hoping for. Hopefully Revolution will be better.

 

I thought it was an allright film. I do think the big dance/orgy and Neo and Trinity having sex detracted from the film. Other than that it was ok.

 

4 stars, good action and all, but i felt that it was just eye candy to tie us over to revolutions, there was barely any plot... the action saved this moive but it was still pretty dam good

 

I had to put five stars. I luved the first movie and I luved the second one.

 

Good so that means I chose three stars. If this was a How do you rate X2? then I would say a very good movie with five stars

 

"Plot holes" = people who dont understand the movie/stuff that wont be revealed until numba 3

 

Once Neo met up with the Oracle and the many Agent Smith's the movie took off, see Persphone was almost worth the price of the ticket alone. The giant religious orgy was intresting, but with the sex scene was incredibly long. All and all a good movie, but the plot was very thin, it was mostly just action. The set up for the Matrix: Revolutions however was excellent.

The biggest downfall was the movie ended at a climatic point, that lost it points. It would of been like AOTC ending when the Stormtroopers started to arrive to save the Jedi from the Battle Arena or when Yoda whipped out his lightsaber to beat the dookie of dooku.

 

Loved it. The Wachowski's are brilliant, utterly brilliant.

The mix of philosophy and action was even better this time around. And the Burly Brawl lasted five minutes.

Sidenote: Did anyone else stay past the credits to see the Revolutions trailer?

 

It was good, almost as good as the first one, but not quite. The first still has an orginality factor that puts it over the top. 4 stars from me.

you should rate movies based on what they are not what they could have been, nothing lives up to hype

I too went with 4 stars.

It did a good job expanding on the first movie, quite like ESB did with ANH.

I would also have to agree with the whole techno/love scene being out of place, and really not needed.

Other than that, the story and action I thought were pretty good.

Not too mention I got a new manual sig from it.

When I first saw it, I would have given it a three. After the shock wore off and I started thinking about the movie, I came to the conclusion that it really wasnt as good as I first thought. It slowly dropped down to two, but Lawrence Fishbourne's performance drops it down to one star - and thats a generous number.

 

This film was a big letdown for me. Maybe IMAX will make it better!

 

Excellent.
