How I Met Your Mother: New Episode Tonight

Great episode!!

 

I really liked this episode. It was great to see James again, and I was glad to have more musical moments from the series. The ending made me laugh. A lot.

"Barney uses his best womanizing tactics to try to convince Ted to design the new GNB building; Robin drunk-dials Don."

 

Now that was a good episode.

So Ted's no longer a professer? Maybe they needed him out so he can date the mother??

 

I liked the ambiguity of whose life was changed by that lecture. And Lily was funny.

Very good episode tonight. This has been a much better season so far.

 

Didn't have many hopes for this one, but I felt it was one of the better episodes that didn't really advance the plot - having a different story for each character meant you didn't become bored with any character.

 

Fantastic episode, classic HIMYM... really hitting it with this season.

 

Great episode. Marshall's song was very entertaining.

"Ted becomes conflicted after meeting an attractive woman who is passionate about saving the landmark building being torn down for his new project."

I really enjoyed the last two episodes, though my favorite bit has been the Schubert Unfinished Symphony playing during "Unfinished" as incidental music.

 

This whole season has been great. I knew the writers had it in them to pull it together, but I don't know if they would do it. But they have. Great work

I was just thinking the same thing--this season felt instantly better than last season and has continued to satisfy thus far.

One of my friends watched the previous season without having to wait a week between each episode and found it very enjoyable--that was the first season I had to wait a week between each one, and I often wondered if that was affecting how I saw the show, since I wasn't used to having to wait (and potentially forgetting a lot between episodes). For the current season, it doesn't seem to matter, however.

 

So looks like Zooey will be back this week.

"When Zoey enrolls in Ted's class, she tries to convince his students to help save the building from being torn down for his project; Marshall and Lily notice Robin marching in the Halloween parade of shame."

Robin and Ted doing the car alarm sound effects in unison was enough on it's own, to make this week's episode gold.

 

Couple of good callbacks this episode (Randy, Car alarm) and one bad one (Where's the Poop - for the love of god, let that die!).

Good to see the majority of the characters with an arc this season (Ted/Zoey, Robyn/Becky, Marshall and Lily planning for children) - it gives them a focus, and whilst you can have the occassional episode where these aren't followed up, it makes it seem that the story is still moving forward.

 

I fancy a glass of Wharmpess

 

Another great one.

the guys watching the hallowen girls walk past was sooo funny.

"Anyone not in class tomorrow gets an F"

That was one of the best ever episodes. Brilliant!!
