It seems that we have all kind of fallen off the face of the boards. I wanted to bring us all back together as one big happy CIV loving family... Even you grumpy. SO, I would like to see how everyones preparation is going. Saving money, making or buying costumes, stuff like that.

As of this Thursday, I have about 75% of my CIV spending money saved. I have my costumes made, my wife is having hers made next month and I have a babysitter for my dog and guinea pig. Oh and I will have my vacation time approved next week. My flight and hotel have been booked for months and OBVIOUSLY, I bought my tickets 4 seconds after they went on sale.

How's it going? Screw it. I'm not going anymore.... BLLLLPRTH!!!!! (Never been sure how to spell a vocal raspberry) but doing an ASCII finger just seems inappropriate. HAHAH! I have to book my flight yet because South West doesn't go past May 10th yet and yes, I'm cheap like that. Not like Mr. First Class Pwinklespi who has to sit next to his wife for 8 hours. Blah! Happily married people make me sick. HAHAHA

Grumpy, did you renew? It would suck watching you from inside the LACC standing outside on ther sidewalk crying.

    4-day badge: check
    Hyperspace membership: check
Costumes: these will be my holiday project

Hotel, flight, and transportation I don't really have to worry about since I live close by. I don't currently know what my work situation will be in May, so I'm not going to worry about that just yet. Basically I guess I am set-- just need to plan out my days once we get the schedule. :D

It may sound sad to admit this, but I've devoted more time and concentration to planning my C4 trip than I have been recently for projects at work!

    Is that bad? ;)

Have: C4 tickets, plane tickets, accommodation, Hyperspace membership, approved leave from work.

Don't have: nearly enough spending money!!

jedifan77 - I'm going to use a family wedding as my excuse to my lecturer as to why I'll need to miss some classes next semester. Great minds think alike! :)

I have the C4 tickets, the flight tickets and the hotel is booked. Unfortunately the rest of my preparations are going very badly since I can't afford to buy any material for the costumes I have planned to do. :(

Well, we have about 6 more months to go before the big week. So hopefully all of us can get all of our preparation done in that timeframe and be ready for a week of SW heaven.

I can hardly wait for May 2007...
