    I can't believe two things about this thread.

    9 in its original form. 6 in its so called "Special Edition" form. Take out all the "Special Edition" edits, put ALL the original cut scenes back in and beef up The Battle of Hoth to 21st Century standards, then I'll give it 10 out of 10.

    Definitely the best of the SW movies, hands down. My only complaints for the movie are in the SE (the extraneous wampa scenes, Luke's girly scream when he falls, Vader's crappy "Alert my Star Destroyer to prepare for my arrival"), and the fact that Ape-Woman played Palpatine, not McDiarmid.

    It gets a '10' from me (along with the rest of the OT) as it succeeds in every way that it wants to. Corny? Yes, but it carries it so well, and continues the excitement from the first one to a new level.
